i really enjoy the game but it needs to have a random matchmaking system implemented hopefully they add it later
Great couch co-op game!
Best puzzle game since Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo, great controls and system mechanics, works nice on the arcade stick too, spent alot of hours on the demo, playtest and predecessor boxen. this game deserves some attention
I absolutely love Tetris and Super Puzzle Fighter, so I was excited to try this fresh take on the genre. And while it certainly brings something new to the table, I don't think it offers a fair competitive experience. The physics feel unbalanced, which made the gameplay frustrating rather than engaging. Of course, you can’t master a game in just an hour, but I ran into so many small issues that dampened my enjoyment, and I didn’t want to risk exceeding the refund window - that alone says a lot. One major problem is how garbage blocks work. In Tetris, even when your opponent sends you junk lines, you can still clear them as part of your strategy. Here, however, garbage blocks can only be removed through colored combos. If your opponent sends you a solid row of garbage, you’re pretty much done for, since waiting for the right colors while trying to survive is far more punishing than it needs to be. Maybe I’ll give it another shot during a big sale, but beyond being a fun party game, I didn’t feel compelled to keep playing during the early access.
Chaotic fun! Unlike any other game I've played and so much stuff to do already. The bungee physics are really fun
A fantastic labour of love that is oozing with game modes, features, polish, and even a cute story. The physic-based puzzling opens up a lot of playful possibilities.
fun game. Easy to learn and I can already tell there is a surprising amount of depth and technique to master. You can tell the developers put a lot of thought and effort into it.
Been a ton of fun playing Weeklies, Dailies, and online! Been so hyped for the release after all the playtests and demos, so finally playing the game is so hype and its been so addicted to it! Def recommend to anyone who likes physics and puzzle games :3
Over the past 6 years I've played a lot of the top competitive puzzle games, but nothing gets close to exciting me as much as TopplePOP. You can see the years of passion from puzzle game fans come out when you give this game a try and see the mechanics come together with the presentation. The story so far has great writing and has made me laugh a number of times too. One thing that I also love about this team is their commitment to their community. Feedback requests in their Discord server are often quickly addressed and they truly take the ideas from their players into account. Competitive puzzle games usually do not get this much care and attention put into them, so I am very excited to see how the game evolves. I recommend you pick up the game in Early Access and follow along for the ride to release.
So this is my life.
