I don't understand how Top Heroes has a mostly positive review. After 5 weeks I have put about 50$ into the game. This is the max I am willing to spend on any "micro" transaction game, which I justify by telling myself if I were to buy the game - it would cost about that much. I am used to the whales being 10x my power in these games with scores that are 200-300x my score (with 10x the power they can "earn" 10x my score everyday). Top Heroes blows this ratio away. The whales are 100 - 1000x my power with a corresponding jump in their score (my server is 5 weeks old). There are multiple players doing 10s of billion of damage in the world events. My 50$ was good enough to place me in the top 100 on the server. The scale from my 50$ to 1st place is extreme, I would estimate that 1st place "spent" in excess of 10K. From talking in game to long time gacha addicts the only way to get away from the whales is to transfer to another server, for which you must buy loot boxes to accumulate enough transfer points to make the transfer.. We are talking 100-200$ in loot boxes just to be able to transfer servers so that you can have the pleasure of being a big fish (not a whale). At least until the whales of your original server get tired of being alone and also transfer. I plan to finish my monthly pass, then I'm out. RECOMMENDATION - HARD PASS.

A mobile game with a decent amount of depth lots to do for dailies and guild events, there is also guild vs guild stuff along with server vs server stuff which if you don't like you cannot escape it unless you obtain shields and make sure you constantly refresh them. Sadly a lot of stuff is tied behind purchases which can get very pricey. You can basically skip it but it will take you much longer to max out items, weapons, classes, etc unless you join a very good guild. The promotional screenshots look like nothing in the real game.
