Look, its an arcade dirt racing game but when you bump someone and get aero damage instead of the car handling different you just lose 10mph in the straight and corner. I cant stand that kind of lazy approach. if youre going to add damage to different parts of the car make it do different things. probably wont ever be fixed, wait till its like 3 dollars maybe turn damage off for more fun.
Editing to add: came back after a while, still stand by all of this. So many simply amazingly poor design choices that it makes my head spin even trying to play as a throw-away arcade game. Feels like you're controlling the car with one of those oldschool table top games where you slide a magnet under a table. Editing again to add: I genuinely don't think whoever developed this game has ever even seen a sprint car in real life. Both the models and physics are just so amazingly bad that it's almost equally amazing that TS's name is attached to this. The wheels are the wrong sizes, there's two radius rods on each wheel, and the physics are so far from reality that any movement feels like it's in the uncanny valley. Can't wait for this WoO/iRacing game to release on here so I can get that and have at least one other option for a sprint car game made in the past two decades other than this turd. Genuinely the worst racing game I've ever played. So clearly a cash grab by devs that don't even know what these cars are. - Engine completely cuts out if you touch the wall for more than .2 seconds and kills over half your speed because the steering feedback isn't strong enough to pull you off the wall until you're going 40 mph. Like you are literally unable to accelerate if you're touching the wall even a tiny little bit. - Cautions aren't called until at least 25 seconds after, sometimes much longer if at all, causing you to restart from the back of the track every caution. - Literally only THREE (3) options for paintjobs on custom cars across every class (????) - Force feedback? What's that mean? /s - Driving "assists" seem to just sabotage race lines at all costs, yet AI have superhuman recovery even on lowest settings. Literally don't even try to use them, it's easier without them. - Absolutely no clue what "improvements on HEAT 4" are being talked about. Did we play the same game? This is just an even more stripped down version of that with even worse physics. - Simultaneously the most distracting and unhelpful HUD on the face of the earth - Better dirt physics to be found in 20+ year old PC games - No tearoffs? No 360s or non-wing 410 (The 305 model is literally just the 410 minus the wings, not like they put extra work in there anyway lol)? Real series and driver names but no real tracks? I could go on. Even as the glorified smartphone app that it is, it sucks on those standards. Best thing about the game is the career mode, but only barely (just on the fact that it HAS a career mode) because it also just amplifies all the previously mentioned problems. Maybe could've been cool if it got updates, but yknow.
Marmite Racing
(you either like it or you don't) Key features

Extremely repetitive,
Worthy upgrades
Almost gave this game a negative review Here's why I'm not jumping in excitement from this game - it's not my genre. I like offroad, destruction derby and cars with guns sort of racing. Tony Stewart's Sprint Car Racing (TSSCR) is all about driving in multiple circles. That's it. Should have seen that sim tag... Customisation? You can change colours and stickers. Different modes? Nope, only one - drive in circles, complete a season and start another one. Cars selection? Three is plenty. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3627530904 5 in 1 "surely it can't be that boring!" Hah! Look, you have to play a race five times to complete it. Run a practice run. Get qualifying times. Compete twice for better starting positions. Only then you get to play the actual race. Five races, and yet it only counts as one! Now repeat that again for... 14 or 20 or 35 races, depending on a series you picked. Lap after lap after lap. Repeat, repeat, repeat... zzZzz Upgrades Really liked the upgrades you can buy. They are really worth the efforts. You can instantly see how you drive faster, maneuver better and maintain speed during tight skids. These upgrades make you value the efforts your put in to get them. Expensive too, so... value goes stonks. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3627530643 TSSCR is a very specific driving sim. It has a nice graphic with sharp textures, models, dust coming from wheels and light reflection. I can forgive only 3 cars selection and lack of tuning/proper customisation, but not the increasing amount of the same races you have to complete i.e. 5 races per 1 race is nonsense.
this game sucks. The Ai are just horrible and its just unrealistic. $20 just to be pushed into the wall everytime
I know this game is older but this game is so underrated. It is a blast to play with a controller or a wheel ( I have a Logitech G20 ) I have 8 hours in so far and there are many more to come. If you LOVE open wheelbase dirt track racing then this is the GAME FOR YOU! You can set your car up to just about any way you want and the handling is fantastic (the underrated part). I wish there was an active community to race with but i have fun playing it alone. Kudos Tony Stewart!
its a good game

Great game. Lots of fun. Wish I could run a TQ Midget for real. haha!
i can not get the game to steer with the second logitech g920 wheel
