I'm not in the habit of leaving reviews... At first I was fooled and didn't think much of this game, but man was I wrong, this game as a 100% masterpiece. 10/10 from me, gotta be on my list of favourite games. > The theme and aesthetics are beautiful. The lofi music adds to this atmosphere, it is very warm, comforting and dark. > The story is captivating, mysterious and charming. Lot's of tongue in cheek humour (a bit OTT at times) some areas are very mysterious, like a dream full of lore and stars > The exploration of this game is perfect! The world (or dungeon?) is massive with many sub areas/hubs that must be completed to unlock new areas, those locked doors that you passed by way back etc. >The difficulty is frickin insane... rage inducing. You will die alot, as a game mechanic. But it is PERFECTLY crafted so that with some repetition you'll beat it. Spike traps, shooting darts, timed jumps, puzzles. The guy who made this game is a genius. Not one flaw to this game, everything is perfectly crafted. You know when your searching for a game for ages, that game that will absorb you in to its world and keep you playing? THIS IS IT! Thanks alot. PS. It looks like i have only played for 5 hours, but this isn't correct. I am up to the part where there is a mysterious monster in the boiler room...

This game is wack
Portal but your in a cult.
Before I played Tomb of The Lost Sentry, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Игра 'Tomb of The Lost Sentry' - это захватывающее приключение в духе классических roguelike.
Zeka ve dikkat gerektiren bir platformer. Her köşe tehlikelerle dolu, bulmacalar ise gerçekten düşündürücü. Çıkışı bulmak için sabır ve strateji gerekiyor. Eğer zorlu bulmacalar seviyorsanız, denemeye değer.

Tomb of The Lost Sentry is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This is a particularly bad and objectively failed 2D retro pixel puzzle platformer, and contrary to the beliefs of literally hundreds of amateur developers, gamers in general aren't interested in pixelcrap platformers. So this failed to attract any interest whatsoever from the millions of gamers on Steam. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $5 USD for this. Five bucks for pixelcrap... talk about delusions of grandeur. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. It's also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who paid money for this... nobody got refunded. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
