Really cute and well made space invaders style critter shooter with pewpew guns, retro effects and powerups!
I can see why it's recommended by most reviews. I'll recommend it the exact same way that I recommended the 'Pang' inspired game here on Steam. It's a decent game. But literally not as good as the game it's clearly inspired by. If you have any way to play OG Space Invaders I'd go with that personally. And I have given this a couple of hours. Like I say, it's good. Just not as good as the actual game.
Fun little souped-up space-invaders clone with a more pleasant color scheme. Good for short game sessions. Worth 13 bucks? Probably not. But I picked it up for 2.50$ on sale.

funny
Brilliant retro arcade game and works perfectly on Apple Silicon. If you wasted your coins in the arcade growing up, get this!
- Pretends to be old school arcade while having to be played only with a mouse, cannot be played with an arcade stick at all. - Window mode had me click outside of the window many times - Starts with baby difficulty, stays this way for a long time, which is really boring, and then a sudden, unfair and frustrating difficulty spike. - Costs 10€ !!!
great game
An oldie that could have been a goody. Classic 2D shooter action with a store-based progression system, and some vibrant pixel visuals. Sadly, this is no longer compatible or fit for purpose (or sale) in 2025. Full-screen (or any screen) isn't properly supported on modern displays without overriding High DPI in the app's Properties. Controllers are not fully supported. You can play the game, but you must use a mouse/kb for UI, including pausing the game. Even allowing for the age of the game, this is trash. And then there's the gameplay: it's pretty easy. Right up until it isn't. Around the time of the second boss fight the game just gives up and throws the kitchen sink at you. Pass.
Funny arcade shooter, good for time kiling and chill. Maybe I wouldn't pay full price for it but on sale? I recommend if you're into this type of game.
