[b]Note:[/b] A totally awesome friend sent me a copy of this game. ^^ [h1]Finding cats is fun, but shooting down toys is something else... :o[/h1] [h2]Introduction[/h2] [i]Tiny Cats vs Toys[/i] is a hidden object game developed and published by Sons of Welder and FM Simple Games Studio. This time, these kitties find themselves in a toy-themed land, surrounded by dangerous toys in the form of soldier figurines. Should you choose to accept, your mission is to find all these cats and milk bottles while shooting the soldiers with ammunition. As for the gameplay, 5 different levels are present. The usual gameplay mechanics are present. You use the left mouse button to click on cats, milk bottles, ammunition, and soldiers, and you can scroll the mouse wheel to zoom in and out of levels. Upon completing each level, you'll earn a set number of coins and a cat-themed trading card, which you can choose from among 3 chests. Coins can be used to purchase trading cards that you haven't unlocked. Also, after completing a level the first time, you'll unlock access to timed levels in which you can replay levels, which adds on the pressure but earns you more coins. Plenty of Steam achievements are present, but they won't count towards a user's global total until the game is out of "profile features limited". [h2]Review[/h2] For the most part, I've been keeping up with these cat-themed HOGs by the developers, and I find it interesting how they keep putting new features into them. How does [i]Tiny Cats vs Toys[/i] stack up against its predecessors? Let's find out. XD [h3]Gameplay[/h3] I like that the basic gameplay mechanics remain the same, with finding the cats and other items and the hint function (indicated as a magnifying glass) that needs to be recharged after being used. Despite that one of the user tags is "cozy", there are two elements that prevent me from putting it in the genre. First, it's the element of using ammunition to shoot down toy soldiers. Now, while I understand that the soldiers are the enemy and the cats are scared, I don't go into a cozy game expecting to hunt down enemies. :o As to the other element... [h1][b]Why is comboing a thing now? -.-[/b][/h1] After clicking quickly on three objects in a row, you'll begin to access combos and continuing to quickly click on items without missing a step (like clicking on a soldier even though you don't have ammunition or a cage even though you don't have a key) will increase your combo multiplier. While this adds a challenge to the game, it does eliminate the game from being cozy, as cozy games are supposed to be more on the relaxing side and having combos has the opposite effect. Even though I was able to successfully make combos, I am not a fan of this mechanic. As for other gameplay elements, I like the addition of cat-themed trading cards. If you're able to complete all the levels, including replaying for the timed ones, then you can get a lot of the cards. If you miss any cards, then you can use the gold that you earn from the levels to purchase them and the prices vary. Of course, this can feel a bit grindy, but if you're able to pass all the levels, then this shouldn't be a problem. I'm glad that the developer has kept to this, and the cats are as cute as ever. The backgrounds are drawn well, too, and I like the color combinations used here. Also, in one of the levels, there are fun easter egg references to the developers' previous cat-themed HOGs, which I thought was a fun addition. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3793792884 In regards to the music, the tracks evoke a fun, light-hearted tone. They're all instrumental and fun to listen to as you're going about finding all those cats and other items, whether you're taking your time or frantically finishing the level before time's up. Each level has its own unique track. [h2]Conclusion[/h2] Would I recommend [i]Tiny Cats vs Toys[/i]? If you're looking for a cat-themed HOG that'll have you test your ability to find items quickly and/or you like getting Steam achievements, then it's probably worth a look. This is a game in which I would like to rate it as neutral, though. If you're looking for a cozy game, you may want to pass up on this, assuming that you want to play a relaxing game and/or get all achievements. At the asking price, it's fair, as it took me less than 2.5 hours to complete all levels and earn all achievements. This game is just not for me. It might be for you: There are 5 drawings, where you need to collect keys, milk and plungers, finding cats, unlocking them out of Lego prisons. And hitting "baddies" with the plungers. For every level you get a card which you collect. But playing each level once isn't enough to get all the achievements. The other goes are on time, which is something that just isn't for me. The art style also isn't my cup of tea, but the cats are clearly visible, not a random scribble that should look like a cat.

这是一款不仅仅寻找小猫，还要解救被困在笼子里的猫咪，并消灭敌对玩具的寻物类游戏 游戏共设有五个关卡，玩家需要在关卡中找出所有小猫，同时解决看守猫咪的玩具士兵。美术画风辨识度极高，一眼就能认出来 —— 所有画面均为纯手绘制作，质感十分出色！游戏里的猫咪分为两类：一类是散落在关卡各处躲藏起来的普通小猫；另一类是被关在笼子中的猫咪。想要救出笼中猫，需要先找到钥匙，再前往笼子处开锁。关卡中还分布着大量玩具士兵，玩家要用手枪将其制服，因此要先收集粘胶子弹，再用子弹标记、击退这些小兵。除此之外，瓶装牛奶也是关卡里需要搜寻的收集道具。因此本作体验下来与传统的寻物类游戏有明显区别，其中最明显的地方便是寻物的顺序，玩具士兵需要玩家先寻找子弹才能够进行攻击，被锁住的猫咪需要先寻找钥匙才能够解放出来。 综上所述，在本作中玩家既要搜寻散落在场景里的普通小猫，也要找钥匙解锁救出笼中猫咪，还需先收集粘胶子弹，使用手枪击退看守猫咪的玩具士兵，同时收集瓶装牛奶；不同于传统寻物游戏，本作各类目标有固定搜寻操作顺序，玩法更丰富。 [quote] 关注[url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/44791929/]游戏好声音[/url]，认真品味好游戏，倾听游戏好声音。 [/quote]
