Time Travel: Escape Room Game

It's difficult to know where to start with this review. Just re-reading the blurb about the game and I'm not quite sure I can concur about some of the claims it makes. For example, '100 world famous locations in different times' - there are approx 10 different, questionably famous locations and basically you randomly keep going back to the same ones and spend several minutes clicking about trying to locate something that is clickable. There's a lot of pixel hunting. Each location consists of just one screen and as you return over and over again, you get to notice the odd change which usually constitutes the item(s) you are looking for. At the beginning, once you've found the very few items needed for the puzzle, the level is over in seconds. They get slightly harder and take a little longer as you progress but not hugely and the puzzles have no real context. Many, many of the puzzles are numerically based and very similar. Basically, you complete the puzzle, find the crystal you need to put into your 'broken' time machine, and off you go again to another single screen location. The professor only appears between levels and only as a still image while you decide whether you want to continue. When I first saw the rendering of the professor and the various screenshots, I was quite impressed with the graphics and perhaps my expectations were raised too high (very much too high) so I was very disappointed to find that the game which looked to have so much potential, is (for me) very repetitive and pretty dull. The game-play elements seem to have been completely overlooked. - not just the repetitive scenes, or the lack of context of the puzzles to the quest, but even something as simple as exiting the game is annoyingly impossible to do. In fact, so far, the only way I've been able to close the game has been to go back into the Steam app and click on 'STOP'. You might eventually stumble across the button to save your game but there is no exit there either. I'm not sure if the game auto saves but I did test the 'load' button and that did nothing as far as I could tell. One positive aspect is that it has a really good hint system and you can skip a puzzle or a level as often as you like. I'm now getting towards the end of the game (I'm determined to finish it) and there really are 100 levels if not more - however, I would rather have had fewer levels with more scenes in each level and more to do in terms of collecting items and solving puzzles which actually make logical sense in terms of the overall quest. For me, this game has been over-simplified and as a result has lost a lot of it's potential.

An Engaging Puzzle Experience with Bosnian Roots As someone with a bit of bias due to the developers being from my home country, Bosnia and Herzegovina, I have to say that this game does an excellent job of delivering what it promises. It’s a puzzle/escape room game that boasts over 100 levels, with even more on the way. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it. The game was a refreshing break from my usual gaming routine and managed to challenge me in ways that kept me hooked throughout. Pros: Stunning Visuals: The graphics are vibrant and detailed, making each level visually appealing. Immersive Music: The soundtrack, especially during the Brazil levels, is captivating and adds to the atmosphere. Unique Sarajevo Winter Olympics Feature: It was great to see the Sarajevo Winter Olympics included as a nod to history. Increasing Difficulty: The puzzles start off simple but progressively become more complex, providing a great sense of achievement. Educational Value: It’s not just fun but also a great way to learn new things while solving puzzles. Engaging Gameplay: The game manages to keep boredom at bay, with each level offering something new. Cons: Visual Variety: While the levels are well-designed, I think the game could benefit from more visually diverse rooms to keep things fresh. Puzzle Difficulty Inconsistencies: Some puzzles in the later stages felt a bit too easy, especially compared to earlier ones. Limited Puzzle Mechanics: Though the mechanics are solid, I believe the game could benefit from introducing more diverse and creative puzzles. Steam Achievement Issues: Four of the listed achievements currently don’t unlock properly, which might frustrate completionists. No Exit Game Button: It’s a small thing, but having to Alt+F4 to exit the game is a bit inconvenient. Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for something to do during a break or just want to relax while solving some interesting puzzles, I highly recommend this game. It’s affordable, visually pleasing, and might even inspire you to do a little research and learn something new. With future updates likely to address some of the current issues, I’m excited to see where this game goes.

Nice small HOPA game with around 100 interesting levels. To get the last achievement you will need to repeat the last level a few times :)

방탈출 연습한다는 느낌으로 참고 30분 정도했는데... 재미가 없어도 너무 없네요 초등학생 전용 게임인 것 같아요....

Ne comptez pas vos points de rapidité ... d'ailleurs on devrait les enlever ! après solution, on a 10 points ... on refait et obtient un max de points .... (donc faux !) Restez en Mode calme et cogite, Résolvez seulement les énigmes, Trop beau, trop fort, très intelligent
