Absolutely recommended. Time Transit VR is a fantastic VR adventure in the world of dinosaurs. You climb through the jungle and in some volcanic caves, paddle a boat and have to solve puzzles and discover and scan animals. It is very suitable for children but also adult players who just want it to be nice and playful. Playing time is approximately 8 hours. The graphics are simple but still great, on the Pimax Crystal, as well as on the Meta Quest2 and 3. I played it on all three head sets.
+ Atmosphere, story, voice acting + Interactions with animals + Climbing controls - Performance, severe pop-in and stutter when loading new area (Which is often) - Walking simulator (Climbing and light puzzles) - No environmental interaction, no object manipulation It's ok for a first playthrough, but without any replay value and it's short duration I can't recommend at full price. Maybe for your kid?
Just played for about 20 minutes till first save point Long enough to see this game has alot potential But its missing full movement Now theres only teleporting. You can choose fast teleporting but when i played sitting fast teleporting the game sometimes could not follow me and give a little stutter when i did same thing standing , i have no stutter. The climbing was good , needed to search a little bit at start but then find out theres more u can climb on. Overall i liked it for the short time i played. Only would like it alot more if theres more movement options to choose from. Later i go on in this game. Its worth the price really bec it should be 9 hours of gameplay as i readed but... put in full movement. I think alot of gamers are doubting to buy it because its just teleporting. I just fulfilled one of my dreams: I fed gummi bears to a flock of dinosaurs. Guess i can die happy now. Game is beautiful, runs super smooth. If i had to voice one criticism, it would be that the ratio of climbing around to petting dinos seems a bit off. There's a lot of climbing. Probably too much. As soon as you meet the next creature, it all seems worth it, though.
Graphics arent the best and pretty boring. Returned after 7 mins
Tons of fun but I can't figure out how save/load functions. Would love a way to turn off the camera turning. Still tons of fun though...
Take A Time Traveling Vacation Ever wanted to just get away, go some where different, or some time different? Well with Time Transit services, this can happen. Time Transit VR is an amazing VR game. It is a peaceful walking sim, its an adventure journey game, its a puzzle game. Its all this in a relaxing, no rush world. You will explore a breath taking world, from different time periods at your own pace. No clock to rush you, nothing hunting you, nothing to hunt or harm. You just get to be a time traveling tourist. Explore, take photos, scan and feed the local wide life, rock climbing, kayaking and so much more. You will have the time of your life. You will explore the world, seeing amazing views, exotic animals, discover new tools to aid you on your adventure. You will also have to solve puzzles, find other path ways to travel. The game has so much to offer, and does a great job doing it. This is one VR adventure I really needed. A wonderful VR world to explore, without it trying to kill you. If you want to just relax, and enjoy the environment you are immersed into, this is a must play game. I have spent hours in this game and enjoyed every second of it. Must have for your VR library. I'm 2 hours into climbing and not even halfway through this game. The climbing never ends... its infuriating and nauseating.. its not fun anymore. The first 30 minutes in this game were nice though, cute dinosaurs + nice visuals. I was committed to finish this one but I don't think I can..
I cautiously give Time Transit VR a "thumbs up." If I had to describe it in a sentence, it's "The Climb, with dinosaurs." At its core, it's a climbing experience - and a good one at that. The environments and the dinosaurs are extremely well done. Honestly, there are many "wow" moments (a carnivorous dinosaur jumping up and just missing my foot with its jaws, navigating your way around and over a lava field, walking underneath giant dinosaurs in a swamp). The puzzles are challenging, but not so much that you can't progress. Overall, Time Transit VR is an impressive accomplishment. The one thing that ALMOST causes me to give it a "thumbs down" is the amount of climbing. Good grief, the level designers went waaaaay overboard. Some levels can take well over an hour just to get from point A to point B. I was skeptical when I read other similar comments ... like, "It can't be that bad!" Well ... it's that bad. The levels included just way too much climbing and there were times I just wanted to quit -- not because I wasn't proficient at it -- but rather because I was asking myself when the heck I was going to reach my destination. It got downright silly. Also (and this is just me), I get terrible VR sickness from canoe games. I have probably 70 VR games and have no issues with any of them, but canoes make me sick. Something about the turning action that messes with my brain. I was really, really hoping that those sections of the game were short. But like everything else, they weren't. Message to the level designers - too much of a good thing is indeed a bad thing. Don't become so enamored with your creation that you miss the point, which is to make it fun. That being said, I just finished the game and the ending was pretty awesome. If you like dinosaurs and climbing, this title is worth a look.
