Well, I mean, I think this is it. This is probably the best survivor-like of its specific type (simple graphics, synergy effect powerups, build-heavy system) that I've played. It's just come out and I've only found one minor bug (the starting weapon info box doesn't show the correct info when you highlight the piercing weapon with the controller only), and the mechanics feel complete and satisfying. I started the first session just to see how it would play and ended up going three hours without even realizing it. Well worth the money if this is the kind of game you want to play.
Neat game but so far not that much content theres basicly 2 types i of choices you could pick (technicly 4 but 2 of them dont have enough cards for that) so either you go full ham on minions, weapon or do some fishy stuff like chaining builds and marks but thats it basicly. charackters are yea what can i say all the same? only difference is how they shot the weapon and have like chaining as base nothing new no starter perks aswell for new classes. Perk whise you have alot of different choices to pick from but even there you are most likly going to use the same 3. Once you enter the game its fun but like i already said theres not much variaty to it even if it looks like it. it is basicly the same stuff over and over again with different names. The game just released and so far its enough content so i cant blame the game. i have 2.5h but i played the demo alot and got a lot of currency so i could test everything
It is a very fun game and I remember when this game was just a demo on itch.io. It has come a long way and I am very happy on how far you have come ravernt. Controls aren't as tight as they should be at higher levels but overall it's an okay game for the price. Update: The 7 minute achievement is so awful. You'll spend most of that time waiting for enemies to spawn even if you're killing them the second they appear. Like I mentioned before, this game isn't tight enough to make those kinds of things worth going after. If you want to play RNG for hours on end to magically get the special combination of items, go for it, but I'd rather an achievement be linked to accomplishments over luck.
This game forces you to have lots of weaknesses, and then opens up the door for you to find a way to make weaknesses into strengths! It has an amount of meta progression to where the game might not feel as stale the more you play it, but also makes it so there is enough starting upgrades when you first play the game to not have it stale in the beginning Its really brilliantly made so that everything in the game has an impact on another thing, especially when it comes to your upgrades/weapons! You can feel the change and can harness it to its best ability if you figure out how. The bat reload mechanic is automatically a kind of weakness but can be made into something you cant stop using, and its the same with everything within the game. If your a fan of roguelikes then this is a game that I recommend you give a shot!
Time to Strike has everything I ask for a bullet hell roguelike game. I'm having the same feeling I had with Brotato (100% achievements). I want to play more and more. Hope endgame will be at least same amount of excitment than the beginning.
A fun good bullet hell that everyone should keep an eye on.
