Nice, short and creepy little indie-horror with a great atmosphere. Sadly the end is bad. But it is free so i give it a thumb up.
Very rough with no clear goals. You will experience some weird random screams right into your ears and see almost nothing except your flashlight. Avoid like fire.
⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⠿⢿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⡟⠉⢻⡀⠄⣿⣿⣿⣿⡟⠉⢹⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣷⠄⢸⣇⠄⢸⣿⣿⣿⠄⠄⣾⠄⢙⣿⣿⣿ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⡄⠄⢿⡄⠘⣿⣿⠃⠄⣼⠃⠄⣼⣿⣿⣿ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⡇⠄⠸⡇⠄⢹⡏⠄⢠⡏⠄⢠⣿⣿⣿⣿ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣧⠄⠄⠃⠄⠄⠄⠄⠿⠄⢀⣾⣿⣿⣿⣿ ⣿⣿⣿⣏⠉⠉⠙⠻⣿⡄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⢸⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣆⡀⠄⠈⠁⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⢸⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣷⡀⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⢸⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣷⣄⡀⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⢸⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⡇⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⢰⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣤⣤⣤⣤⣤⣤⣼⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿

Nice creepy atmosphere, the ambiance sucks you in and holds you, sound system needs improvement i.e boat/monster sounds get repetitive. Basic Story premise and plot are strong and do not need to be expounded apon if you read between the lines. Didnt understand the sanity system nor did I want to due to the HORRORS it would reveal (also the frame rate dip). The game has organic moments, like when i was attacked and in a panic i lost where i put the boat so i ended upm running from a monster i couldnt see through the jungle like a mad man, good times. Overall: Game can be enjoyed and its free so no complaints are necessary aside from the fact that during the 1.5 patch/update i had to rename the "data" file so that i could get the game running, hopefully the dev fixes this issue for other players. P.S - Great example of solo development game making, good for a portfolio or other design projects to display the dev's abilities, i look forward to seeing other titles and games from the the dev, good work.
This is a weird place for me. It a horror game that actually tries. It's not comically terrible but I don't believe it achieves all of it goals. The environment and atmosphere are done very well. The game will creep you out; however, after a few minutes it will not creep you out. This feels very much like a house of horror you would walk through at a theme park. It will creep you out, but never really feel in danger. It's a very good start but needs some more work and polishing. Please Blackwood Specter, keep making games and keep improving. DO NOT GIVE UP!!!!!
Playing this game at the start was quite creepy. You were finding your friend in the amazon. But everyone is gone. You find a strange rock and with it can see some creepy creatures. You will come across a tent and find the "plane keys" and than you forget you friend and try to get out of there. After getting to the plane, you find out that the "plane keys" were a knife and you commit suicide? The End. Not a fan of the twist. Didn't understand it very well. You are able to skip most locations by finding only one gas tank. That will literally allow you to find the rock, keys, and get you to the end with no problems. I encountered the monster at the rock and I was inside so i though it was gonna kill me but I turned off the rock and walked back to the boat and was completely fine. I would want to recommend this game but can't. It just hasn't had the interactions enough for me. Maybe starting with less gas would help and maybe less gas from the tanks.
They That Feast 10 из 10
"They That Feast" is a badly made first person adventure made up of the usual Unity Asset Store assets being thrown in a blender. At least the developer didn't have the audacity to try charge money for someone else's Unity assets, but that still doesn't result in a quality gaming experience. And, once more, H P Lovecraft is rolling in his grave. I've seen so much abuse of H P Lovecraft here in the shallow end of Steam that I'm starting to think Disney may have a point about the public domain. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming idustry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
WHAT IS THIS? GLITCHY MESS!
It's bad.
