i love building :>
很好玩也很好上手,规划城市,且有大量插件mod可以选择,我体验下来很过瘾,很喜欢这种小巧且是像素画风城市建造游戏。
Theotown is a very charming city-builder game. I've played on and off over the years, but I've spent the last week playing and while there are a ton of good things going for it, there are a few things I want to point out so you don't have to find out the hard way. What I Love: - It's quick and easy to learn, especially if you've played SimCity before. Make sure you have enough of this, enough of that, and voila, you have happy citizens. It really saves time and lets you focus on micromanaging and decorating your city. - It's beautiful and exceptionally detailed. Half the fun for me is zooming in on my city just to get a glimpse of the virtual life I've developed. - There are a lot of plugins, and getting them is as simple as downloading them within the app (on PC, on mobile you need to watch an ad or spend diamonds for each one.) What I Hate: - Something really disheartening to realize as I played, the boons (and banes) of your buildings are purely the only factors. There are no (truly) invisible, universal bonuses for having 'a gas station' here or 'a financial institution' there. Having a house one block outside of the closest fire station's influence means they're not protected. The radius for whatever happiness it is is it. This puts mars into a few facets of the game, like landmarks or plugins offering things like 'commercial fulfillment': why would I want a building to wipe out commercial demand when my only source of revenue is tax generated?.. and trains. You don't actually need to build rails, because the radius of the station is all that matters. Anything other than plopping a station down is purely cosmetic. - There are no repercussions. There are no politics or litigation. Demolish a block, delete the roads, never buy hospitals. Whatever punishment it may bring is essentially confined to your wallet. To put it simply, there are very few parallels between TheoTown and the actual world below the surface. You're not really a mayor, your a benevolent God. - It's extremely easy, but I will say the lack of difficulty saves a lot of time and headspace to actually design a city. The only difficulty comes in at the very beginning, when residents demand trash pickup the instant it's unlocked. Sure, you could turn on auto-disasters, play on hard, but that's it. Once you're established, the only difficulty comes from laying out your city. - The games shines through its illusion. Like I said before, half the fun for me is being able to zoom in and take a peek, but as time goes on, you start to realize just how many quirks there are. Like, why aren't there cars parked on the street? Why are roads either flat or slanted at a 45 degree angle? Why do I need a plugin for diagonal roads? That brings me to my last point.. - The fact there is plugin support is honestly awesome, and it works really well from what I could tell from what I downloaded. My only question is, why not include some of these into the actual game? I only say this because they could really use some balancing, like the Coca Cola factory only costing 2T. Theotown is a fantastic game and I would definitely recommend giving it a shot, just don't confuse 'city-builder' for tycoon, because that's exactly what they went for. While it might not have the kind of intricacy I was hoping for, it's definitely set for real complexity below the hood down the road.
