The Woods: VR Escape the Room

This was my first Escape the room VR experience so I don't really have anything to compare it to, With that being said, here's what I liked and disliked about it. (Played with the Oculus Rift + Touch Controls at room scale) Starting off I was a little confused about what I was looking to do, once I got my bearings and figured out where we were off to do, I had a great time with this one. The puzzles were hard for me, but I think this is more due to this being my first game like this, but once I got things going, I started to understand what was expected of me. It would have been nice to have some sort of hint system if you get stuck. as one spot I was stuck for a good 15 minutes before I figured it out. As of Version 1.0.1 the game ran pretty choppy for me, I don't think it was above 45 FPS and that made things very difficult to handle at times, I am currently rocking a Ryzen 7 1800x and an Nvidia 1060 6GB, so in theory my system should have been able to handle this with ease as I met the recommended settings. Even so, with the very shaky visuals due to low FPS, I managed to come out of this one with a positive experience. This took me around 45 minutes to complete since I didn't really know what all to expect and it took me a while to figure out, but I'd recommend this one to anyone if things run well for you. Just keep in mind this game may need more power than the specifications suggest. 無聊解謎，光第一個解謎就會卡非常久，又很無聊，解完完全不會有成就感之類的，很悶，差點睡著。

Very badly designed puzzles that last from 15-20 minutes to solve. This shoud be free. This is a joke not a game. Don't bother.

Played on HTC Vive/GTX1060. Played it twice as I thought one puzzle was bugged and didn't let me do it, but it just turned out I didn't understand what to do the first time. Just like I didn't understand the first major puzzle.. I think I played it through in actually about 15-20 minutes, if you are smarter than me and see through the puzzles you might even make it within 10 minutes.. The puzzles are pretty kinda interesting, but with my system it just didn't seem to run really fluient, looked like some reprojection and sometimes the whole visual just turned 'blue' for a moment. Visually it looks pretty good, but as with a lot of VR games it's still a shame stuff just goes through everything like some paper half through the body/cage etc. I bought the game with a reduction because I also bought submerged and already had some others, I think it came out at about 2,5 euro's.. Even at that price I think it's a bit short, as the last room seems to have been setup to have more puzzles, and the ending is a bit unexpected (as I expected a few more puzzles in that room). But it's still a pretty solid escape room game, so I'll give it a tumbs up, but a marginal thumbs up..

I'll admit it, I love this VR escape room series, and this has to be up there as one of my favourites (maybe tying with The Cabin). Well worth the £2.99 I paid to extend my game bundle of include this one.
