A corny masterpiece

This game is absolutely fantastic. I went into it expecting a good story, but I honestly didn’t expect to get this invested this quickly, as I lose interest after a couple of hours. The atmosphere, characters, dialogue, and overall noir/fairytale setting are absolutely incredible. Great protagonist, and the way the game slowly reveals more about Fabletown makes every conversation feel important. I especially love how the choices actually make you stop and think about what kind of person you want to be. Even seemingly small decisions feel like they could come back to matter later. The art style and soundtrack fit perfectly too. There’s something about the dark, gritty atmosphere mixed with these familiar fairytale characters that works ridiculously well. I’m only two episodes in, so I’m genuinely excited to see where the story goes. If the rest of the game keeps this level of writing and atmosphere, I can already tell this is going to be one of those games I’ll remember for a long time. So hella exited for the sequel also!! 10/10 so far.
