The long play time is due to the game keeping running in the background even when I had it closed on linux. It's a good game, very good mystery, maybe a bit tropey especially in regards to how it handles disability but it's nice. Il ike how it takes the fiary tale elements and really makes something unique for crime video games. Cannot wait for the sequel

Imagine taking classic fairy tale characters, throwing them into the grim, drug fueled backdrop of 1980s New York, and forcing them to hide among humans using black market magic. You’re Bigby Wolf, formerly the Big Bad Wolf working as the local sheriff. Everyone hates you for your violent past, but when a gruesome murder hits the district, you’re the only one who can crack the case before the whole secret community tears itself apart. The neon-synth aesthetic and comic book art style are incredible. Bigby is an awesome protagonist, and you spend the whole game deciding whether to be a decent lawman or just go full monster when people push you. It takes a crazy concept and turns it into a genuinely dark story about crime and corruption. It’s classic Telltale, so "gameplay" is mostly picking dialogue under a timer and mashing keys during action scenes. Your choices shape how characters view you rather than completely changing the ending, but the story is so good you won't care. It's stylish, tense, and effortlessly cool from start to finish. Grab a drink, turn off the lights, and just let it ride.
