From the first glance, you might thought Majo Koi Nikki is a moege due to its pinky white background, cute moe looking heroines, and sakura petals. I will tell you that your judgement is wrong, just like mine. I thought I will be getting a boring meh slice of life romance story but instead I get something absurd and completely out of my expectation. Let's just say that Majo Koi Nikki is not a turn off brain visual novel, you actually need a life-support for your brain to truly experience this visual novel. The story is very complex, confuse, whatever you call it. It actually requires you to fully invest your attention to every single details, every foreshadowing that is being told throughout all of the routes before Konron's route. And with those kept in mind, reaching Konron's route will definitely answer at least 40% of the story and True route answer the rest of 60%. If you hang in there and reach to the end of the story, everything will be rewarded and you will be satisfy. (maybe, apparently you should be reading the FD to get a full closure) I have got to praise the illustrators for this title, their art styles are what sucked me to spend money on this. CGs are incredibly well-drawn and colorful, character sprites are super cute as well. There are just no cons for this, I love every single CGs. Other than just the art itself, voice actresses too, are part of the reason why I bought this title. Ishihara Mai and Mizuhashi Kaori are both my all-time favourite voice actress, and thanks to their voice, they make their characters so much more alive. Majo Koi Nikki is a big up up only if you enjoy reading a story that tells you many different stories within a story and if you don't mind having some philosophical thoughts/theories with in-depth analysis along the way. The length of this visual novel isn't long but every moment I've read, are definitely worth every single pennies I spent for it.

单纯为了狗姐和楠原小天使给的好评。 推荐推完后去补完psv上的额外剧情，没有psv可以去b站搜索老Y补下。 以下是黑泥 ----------------------------------------------------------------- [spoiler] 新岛夕的风格以天马行空的想象力，狂发刀子，虐主角为基调，因此这人的风评两级分化极其严重。很遗憾的是，我算是他的黑子。但我并不是讨厌BE，能把发刀写好的人不少，AB3的生命的备份和苹果妹关键线写的都还算可以（虽然中島大河的底力是真的垃圾），我只是讨厌他单纯为了虐而虐的恶意以及那种莫名其妙的谈恋爱注定要悲剧的主旨。为什么新岛夕的参与的故事都充满了幻想风，因为脱离了幻想的虐会显得十分刻意，给人一种无病呻吟的感觉，说的就是恋彼女的星奏线，明明他是有能力把一个发糖的故事写好的，同游戏的彩音线不知道比星奏线甜了多少个等级。而且他的日常写的是真的臭，跟雪人的一句话能当十句话讲的无聊日常堪称卧龙凤雏，但人家雪人的大纲水平那叫一个高啊。另一方面，新岛夕的作品像开盲盒一样，质量参差不齐，从爱因斯坦本篇就可以看出这人放飞自我有多可怕了，个人认为他是国内严重过誉的脚本家，实力是有的，不然也不会有那么多人拉他合作，但是企划+单人脚本的实力过差，难堪大任，在有人干预调整的情况下反而更能体现他的实力。 如果樱之刻有禀线，我更希望是自鸽鸽亲自操刀，新岛夕还是算了吧。 [/spoiler]

A surreal and sometimes confusing but ultimately interesting read. The basic premise is deceptively simple. Our protagonist, Alice Nanno, one day finds a mysterious book (aptly named "The Witch's Love Diary") that contains stories about herself and her friends that seemingly never happened in reality. I won't spoil it any further than that, but suffice to say that the mystery only grows more involved the more you go into the game. It's a fantastic and wild ride to uncover the truth behind the Witch's Love Diary and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a romance novel stirred with a mix of fantasy into it. That said, there is one thing that stood out to me, so much so that I actually have to consider it a negative point against the game: There are a [i]lot[/i] of sex scenes. Like, a LOT. Compared to most other VN's I've read where the sex is mostly isolated to the most important/climatic moments, The Witch's Love Diary has one, like, every 15-20 minutes of reading. This may make it either more or less interesting to you, but I found it detracted more than what it added and drew too much attention away from the story being told behind the scenes. It got to the point where I'd go "oh come on, not [i]again[/i]" because it was interrupting the flow of the story often at the most important moments. Speaking of story, this VN is one of the ones that does that thing where it gives you the illusion of a branching story (there are several choices you can make throughout) but they all ultimately lead to the same endings, just in a different order. That's worth keeping in mind if you do decide to pick up the game; don't worry too much about which choices you make, it ultimately doesn't matter because you'll have to see all of the scenes regardless. I actually prefer the kinetic novel style more, so this works out for me (it may not for you). Now, in terms of playability, The Witch's Love Diary has more or less all the features you'd expect out of a modern VN: quicksave, quickload, skip, message log, CG/music/movie gallery, scene replay, the whole nine yards. Nothing really to complain about there. Overall, I'd give it a recommend. The price point is more or less average for this kind of VN, and it [i]is[/i] actually quite long, so I'd say it's worth it to pick it up at full price if it interests you.

This is an interesting VN. It takes a slightly novel approach, being that you get to deal with each heroine one after the other. The premise is that Alice and her friends stumble across an old diary that... seems to indicate a number of romances that may or may not have actually happened. Each is interesting in their own way. And while I'm still slightly confused by the resolution, it is a good read. Can't remember if there was a patch or if the VN came uncensored, but there are mosaics in those scenes, for those who care. Fully recommend.
