The Way We All Go

Amazing visual novel, Ever since I played the original the way we all go its been my favourite visual novel so when the remake released I immediately had to get it. The remake is just as good as the original and improves on a lot of parts of the original. The story is amazing and all the endings and amazing. I 10000% recommend

So after 23 hours and also 23 endings i will write my review, to put it short: Community is nice and also ebihimes who is the dev of it, the game itself is worth the money and at the same level as doki doki literature club in my eyes, everyone who play the game will have a different experience what is a very good thing, you not only have one character to focus on what is also a good thing, psycho horror is available but not absolutely forced so there are many endings without it. Longer version: I personally played the demo version first what is also a plus point of the game because you can clearly know then that you want to buy it or not, then i played the full version and my first ending was Noelles romance ending (i heard that almost or likely no one got this ending as his first one), from that point on i knew that the game is worth playing and i also knew that you are able to focus youself on the character you like the most, i joined a bit later ebihimes discord server to ask questions and stuff what was a really good choice because ebihimes also answer you questions and give you tips even when he is the dev, the community is also nice and almost always help you or answer you with the time, and as the time passed i also got more and more endings until i got to this point now, so yeah i would say that this game is worth buying it.

I am aware this visual novel isn't very popular. But it resonated with ME incredibly well. One thing I think this visual novel does much better than most others is explaining the reasons behind why the characters act the way they do and those reasons being understandable even if they're not necessarily justified. With enough/the right routes done you get clear pictures of who Atsushi, Amu, and Noelle are, why they are the way they are, and how their friendships developed. None of them are cardboard stereotypes. Noelle infamously snaps on many routes, but with the context of her backstory in her good endings, you can see why it happened even if her response is obviously disproportionate. And even the backstory gives her legitimate reason to be angry with Atcchan. They're all flawed, and those flaws are neither glorified nor condemned. Amu's probably the most well-off character in the novel, but she isn't perfect or a flat archetype either. My only real issue here was that I didn't like Eri, but that's more due to me just not liking the archetype rather than a problem with her specifically. YMMV, but the emotional themes really got to me too, especially Noelle's. I got all the endings, and the first one was the Noelle romance route.

The Way We All Go is a very enjoyable VN with a lot of choices, endings and many interesting characters. I have done multiple playthroughs and something I really appreciated is the big changes that small choices can bring, making it easily replayable with multiple different scenarios. Searching for the various endings is also fun because each one gives you a new view of the characters, letting you see their different sides. I've already read many of ebi-hime's works, and just like the others, the writing is really good. The VN also has great art and music
