About
WACKYTOWN
A wave-defense game that respects your time and aggressively disrespects your dignity.
Survive 14 waves of escalating absurdity. Soft little things at first — basic enemies that walk in a line and die when shot. Then it gets worse. By wave 7 you're freezing teleporting jesters mid-spawn while a phase boss takes your base apart on the other side of the screen. By wave 14 you've spent $20,000 on a piercing upgrade and you still aren't sure if it was worth it.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX
- 14 hand-tuned waves with a real ending — not a roguelike, not an infinite-survival hamster wheel. You beat it or you don't.
- 25+ enemy types: speedsters, tanks, jesters, vampires, freezers, splitters, ghosts, and four named bosses.
- 20+ upgrades. Buy whatever's funny. Lifesteal AND thorns is a build. Crit chance AND knockback is a build. Regret is also a build.
- Online 2-player co-op via Steam friends. Host a room, send an invite through the Steam overlay, your friend joins instantly.
- A multiplayer "Play as Enemies" mode where one player swaps roles with the wave manager. Buy enemies with coins, spawn them at the worst possible moment, and try to kill your friend.
- Four difficulties: Easy / Normal / Hard / Impossible. Impossible has a 3x HP multiplier and an achievement titled "Walked Through Hell." It is not a metaphor.
- 56 real achievements. 5 fake ones. You'll know which is which.
- Meta-progression: Wacky Coins + Account XP across runs, unlock cosmetics from a 22-item shop (skins, bullet trails, kill effects, victory dances), and dig into a 25-entry lore codex.
- A 50-tier seasonal Battle Pass with a free track for everyone and a premium track for the obsessed. New season every 90 days.
- Leaderboards for highest wave, fastest wave-14 clear, and the daily run (everyone gets the same seed for the same day).
DEFEND. DESTROY. SURVIVE.
Wackytown is a small, tightly-tuned 14-wave run made by Wackytown. Average run length 10-25 minutes. Pick up, play, beat the final wave, brag to your friends, go to bed.
we need chinse!!! Wackytown? what a name, this game sure is wacky with its wacky cast of characters it will have you rofl (rolling on the floor laughing) because they are just too wacky! Bring your wacky friends a long for this wacky experience. it is truly something work wacking for.
The Wackytown Game has genuinely blown me away and quickly become one of my favorite games I've picked up in a long time. From the moment I booted it up, I was immediately impressed by the absolutely stunning art style and user interface — everything is so colorful, polished, and visually creative that it feels like you're playing inside a living cartoon world, and every single menu, button, and screen transition is beautifully designed in a way that makes navigating the game an enjoyable experience all on its own. The class action gameplay is where this game truly shines though, and I have to say I was completely hooked from my very first match — the way the different classes interact with each other, the strategic depth it adds, and the sheer fun of experimenting with different team compositions kept me coming back for hours and hours without even realizing how much time had passed. On top of that, the variety of game modes available is seriously impressive, giving both casual players and competitive players more than enough content to stay entertained for a very long time, and I personally loved switching between modes and discovering how differently each one plays. However — and I really hate to bring this up because I love this game so much — there is one glitch that I have encountered multiple times now that is honestly pretty hard to ignore, where the alien characters in the game suddenly and randomly stop whatever they are doing and just start break dancing completely out of nowhere while simultaneously saying some really inappropriate and offensive things that are genuinely shocking to see in what is otherwise such a fun and lighthearted game, and this glitch has unfortunately happened to me at some of the worst possible moments mid-gameplay, completely breaking my immersion and leaving me pretty frustrated each time it occurred. The developers really need to patch this as soon as possible because it is the one thing holding this game back from being an absolute perfect experience, but even with that frustrating bug, The Wackytown Game is still an incredibly fun, beautiful, and creative game that I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for their next gaming obsession.
