I like playing these puzzle game, it's really good for my head when you over think to much about anything really.

While I enjoy match 3 games, this one I couldn't get into. It was nice that they had a story line in mind, but playing level after level just to buy one thing started to get ridiculous. It's a shame they didn't have more things to interact with to make the game more interesting to play. There are certainly some bugs that made the game rather discouraging to play. I wouldn't recommend this game and if someone is looking to add it to play, I'd suggest getting it during a sale.
You get to level 3-something and the games is unplayable

The Trials of Olympus 2: Wrath of the Gods, developed by e-FunSoft Games and published by HH-Games, is a mythologically themed match-3 puzzle adventure that blends classical tile-matching mechanics with light narrative progression and incremental upgrade systems. As a sequel, it builds upon the foundation of its predecessor by expanding the scale of its campaign and deepening its progression elements, while remaining firmly rooted in accessible, casual gameplay design. The story follows Angelo, a heroic figure whose marriage to Princess Amara is disrupted by the wrath of Ares, the Greek god of war. When Amara is abducted, Angelo embarks on a quest that takes him across multiple myth-inspired realms, confronting Titans and divine obstacles along the way. While the narrative is relatively straightforward and primarily serves as motivation for progression, it adds thematic cohesion to what would otherwise be a purely mechanical experience. Cutscenes and dialogue segments appear between worlds, giving players brief narrative interludes that tie the puzzle stages together. Gameplay centers on classic match-3 board mechanics. Players swap adjacent tiles to form groups of three or more identical pieces, clearing them to fulfill level objectives. Each stage introduces varying goals, such as collecting specific tile types, breaking obstacles, or reaching target scores within a limited number of moves. As levels advance, additional mechanics and constraints are introduced, requiring more deliberate planning and efficient board manipulation. The pacing ensures that early stages are approachable, gradually layering in complexity to keep the experience engaging without overwhelming newcomers. A defining feature of the game is its fortress upgrade system. Resources earned from completing levels can be invested into permanent enhancements that strengthen Angelo’s abilities or unlock supportive bonuses. These upgrades introduce a light sense of strategic progression, allowing players to tailor advantages to their playstyle. While not deeply complex, the system adds a layer of long-term motivation beyond simply clearing levels. This progression loop helps maintain engagement across the game’s extensive campaign, which spans over a hundred handcrafted stages. Visually, the game embraces a colorful, cartoon-inspired depiction of Greek mythology. Environments shift across themed worlds, including mystical realms and Olympian landscapes, providing variety in visual presentation. Character portraits and environmental details reinforce the mythic setting without striving for realism. The art style remains clean and readable, ensuring that tiles and interactive elements stand out clearly during gameplay. Audio elements complement the setting with light orchestral tones and subtle effects, though they remain understated rather than memorable. Despite its strengths, the game remains firmly within the conventions of the match-3 genre. The core mechanics do not deviate significantly from established formulas, and players seeking innovative puzzle systems may find the experience familiar. Repetition can emerge during extended sessions, particularly for those accustomed to deeper strategic puzzle hybrids. However, for fans of structured, level-based progression with gradual difficulty scaling, the design delivers a steady and satisfying rhythm. Overall, the game succeeds as a comprehensive casual puzzle adventure that blends accessible match-3 mechanics with a mythological narrative wrapper. Its expansive level count, incremental upgrade system, and themed environments provide substantial content for genre enthusiasts. While it does not attempt to revolutionize tile-matching gameplay, it offers a polished and cohesive experience suited to players who enjoy methodical puzzle solving paired with light storytelling and steady progression.
