Super fun little game.
Found out i absolutely have Thalassaphobia. Zero doubt now. Some genuinely terrifying moments
You will likely finish this game in under an hour of playtime. But yeah it was fun. I'd say the game's price shouldn't be higher than 0,99 € based on the amount of content.
A nice, short, horror game. Worth the $4.
It's a short experience, but everything works well in it. Wish the game was longer, a 4-8 hour experience. Otherwise, for a low-budget project and a small duodev team it's great. Keep bringing us more talassophobic experience.
Cool little game. Kept me engage the whole time. Took a little while getting used to the controls, but definitely worth the money for the one time experience. It's like that movie "The Sixth Sense". Once you know how it ends, rewatching it is no fun. The only other time I would play this again, is if I take a back seat and let my wife play it just to see her reactions. Good job devs!
Very short jumpscary game with the interesting concept. Would be great if it rose to something bigger than this in the future.
The store page makes this game look better than it actually is. There *was* an attempt, but this feels less like a game and more like a tax write-off. Spoilers for anyone who may want to hold onto their $2.00, or play Iron Lung/Call of Cthulu (because they have a few things in common with this game...) Pros - - Claw machine - Fish Cons - - Everything else After diving to the bottom of the trench, the game pointed out that there was, in fact, a story here, so I returned to the surface, where the objectives finally loaded in. Then, I spent the next two hours looking for them because they were either too small to see unless I was right on top of them, or they were clipping out of the map. It didn't help that all of that work was just so I could listen to a tape recorder phone in voice lines about a scientist finding something and then refusing to leave (shocking, I know) Eventually my sub was attacked by the sea lice, drug into a cave, and then attacked again. All in the span of two minutes. After that, I got to watch a Fur Affinity post rise from the waves and begin to idle. I did, however, like the retractable claw mechanic (when it was in finally in range to grab something) This is more-or-less a demo with polished thumbnails and a playerbase of three people. Still, I wish the developer(s) well, and can at least say they tried. Hopefully their next game is much better
The arm of the sub doesn't grab what i need to get despite repositioning many times. i made sure i was lined up properly, i even moved to the exact x,y coordinates which just made the sub right on top of the signal device but unable to grab anything as you can no longer see it but since it wouldn't grab it when in sight i thought id try it that way to no avail. its a shame as the story's premise was really interesting and i was looking forward to exploring the trench. refunded
