As I like Point & Click adventures with real life photos, this was right down my alley. It's a short adventure with a lot to learn about poisons and their counter measures. As it was free and I was entertained, it gains an instant positive raiting from me. What I liked: - the used background photos of lost places and the general atmosphere - the writing and the voice of the main speaker What I didn't like as much: - the audio quality of the female speaker - interactive objects are mostly instantly recognized because of their different looks and their direction in which they were photographed
This was a fun and educational point-and-click walk through the toxicology background necessary to understand a specific type of poisoning. If the player interacts with all of the objects, the answers should be fairly straightforward, prior medical knowledge or not. I would definitely keep playing if there were stories for every other toxin in the drawer!

I'm giving up early on this one. Found the interface to be frustrating, having to sometimes struggle to disengage the mouse from one object / clue / event before I could tackle another. When I tried to click on the potential poisons to read about them, it kept trying to tell me to close the drawer before I could answer, rather than letting me just click on the next poison. I'm patient with frustration when it's for a reason, but this was basically pointless frustration because getting the mouse / navigation to work was so problematic. Despite that, I'm giving it a "recommend" because I think the creators are still working on it. If they improve the interface, it could be an interesting game. I don't want to down-vote them and trash their chances of improving and creating a worthwhile game.
What the store page doesn't tell you is just how educational it is - it's 10% game, 90% "this poison has this latin name and these chemical components and used to be extracted from this plant" (and there's a lot of poisons). Lots of indigestible information you then have to use to solve the puzzles/case. It is good, but ONLY if you care a lot about the science side of poisons. Which isn't a bad thing, I just wish I knew what to expect - the "story-telling framework" is much less present than the game description would have you believe. (I also wish the options menu was more obvious, and I'd like the option to turn off the voiceoiver - nothing wrong with it, I just personally like to read my visual novels and not hear them - but that's details)
Wow, that game is surprisingly great. Something completely different and catching.
peak murder mystery doctor vibes
Короткая, в конце долго тупил, но всё же смог пройти (Если что пароль TRIP и надо просто в телефоне ввести цифры с этими буквами)
I'm currently doing a challenge to play through a free game in every single category on steam. I then give an honest review using ChatGPT.
Game: 136 / 447 Category: Time Travel This is a short point-and-click adventure with a time travel twist. It doesn’t take long to finish, and while the puzzles were alright and made sense, the game overall wasn’t very difficult. Visually... it's pretty rough. A lot of the objects just look like random PNGs slapped onto a desk—like someone dragged and dropped clipart with no real effort to blend anything in. Definitely not winning any art awards. That said, for a free game, it’s okay. Quick, mildly entertaining, and at least the puzzle logic wasn’t total nonsense.
