The Sword of Rhivenia

Spoiler Alert! The entire time i didn't feel like the choices and events i was getting involved in were fit to my role and position, the entire time it's just small scale events like fixing problems between two people or fixing family problems or going to this person or that person and talking, I felt like it should've focused on the bigger picture concerning the entire kingdom as a whole not entirely on individuals inside the castle. Like all the big events results and paths are related to few individuals that you interact with inside the castle like interacting with Xavier decides the fate with Asinea and interacting with Asteryn decides the fate with the whole poison thing and the cousin or the kids that stole and if you spare them because the other choice is literally killing them would make it that the entire game you are reminded that you spared them and based on that they no longer trust you to rule and they keep reminding you of that over and over and over from different characters like there are no other events. I feel like they should've given you problems related to like economy to improve it or the army to enhance their strength because the enemy is marching towards your doorstep instead you are stuck in this castle 90% of the time and the entire playthrough is interacting with characters non-stop fixing their problems... Also I couldn't believe that was the ending, really was unsatisfied with it not because of the choices that led to it but because it felt unfinished and stopped at a point that did not make any sense to stop at and call it an ending. It literally stopped at you waiting in your hall for the allies to arrive at your doorstep to celebrate surviving a poison crisis while your cousin's army marching towards your kingdom. I really hope the sequel make it worth buying the first game because otherwise i am very disappointed and this entire game feels like a setup for the sequel.
