The Swarm

When I say this one of the best 2D shooters I've ever played, I am 100% telling the truth when I say that. The Swarm has such a unique yet addictive feel to it, where it pushes you to really want to kill that boss in order to progress and get the next! It's a game that not only do I find visually fantastic, but just generally smooth to play and so entertaining. I'd highly recommend The Swarm to anybody who's looking for a that isn't too serious, but really brings you into the atmosphere of the game! Overall, I can see myself putting a lot of time into this game. :)

I don't enjoy the combat of this game. It feels slow and clunky. Additionally, the intro for the game is too long, with no skip. Feels like a gta loading screen man.

Very solid but much more of an endurance test than actual difficulty. Maybe I just haven't figured out how to maximize damage output but dying feels like such a huge setback that it gets pretty frustrating. Also please for the love of god add like a "press R to restart" screen after dying

It's a lot of fun, and it's free. There are some problems however. I think the enemies are way too tanky. This coupled with no real feedback of how much damage you've done, makes for a pretty frustrating experience. I'd appreciate something like cracks appearing over the enemies' bodies as you do more damage. Another thing is the lack of omnidirectional aiming and movement. It feels frustrating missing your shots just because the game decides that isn't a spot you can shoot. Last thing that comes to mind is explosive projectiles should explode one another, maybe even do friendly fire against other enemies if they are exploded by you shooting them. I see a lot of potential in this game, so I hope it will improve a lot, cus it definitely can

Je dis un grand OUI ! Il fait penser a Warningforever par rapport aux graphismes minimaliste et a un combat de boss de plus en plus dur mais la comparaison s arrete la ! Le jeu est assez prenant et reponds tres bien aux commandes , la bande son est super et l ambiance est la ! Bref foncez , c est une vrai pepite ! Interet : 15/20 Realisation : 15/20
