The game is fun, interesting to see how gaming was in 60s and how it developed from that to now. Worth to play it as precursor to current strategic/city builder games
Hagas lo que hagas, palmas. Recomendadísimo.
I was drawn to this game by all the hype about it's age (cira 1964) and the clever educational value. But having played it, I can't recommend it. The basis of economics or decision making based on knowledge are totally lacking. You start out being asked how much to feed the population, but have absolutely no idea what is a realistic amount. After 4 retries I came across the the "right" number. Then repeated the same for the amount to plant. Once you figure out the 2 amounts, just keep entering them and you will succeed every time, with absolutely no thought required. Also good luck with the "random" annual disaster events which occur with such frequency, that if mankind had experienced this historically, then monkeys would rule the world.
Everyone in the game are ungrateful by my offerings, so they shall be smited by "doodoo fard", god of sucking at ancient text based strategy games!
