The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe

Honestly brilliant. Writing too much would spoil it, but suffice to say whole point of this is a commentary on the choices, or lack thereof, in games. It's more than just that, and is a delightful offering of charm, wit, and moments of laugh out loud surprise. The game plays you as much or more than you play it. I will say that I am writing this review as someone who did not play the original back in 2013. Had I played the original, I may well have found the 'new content being disappointing' joke much less funny, given that I would have paid a fair amount of money for it. The [spoiler]memory zone and exhibition hall 'endings'[/spoiler] are great, however the [spoiler]bucket[/spoiler] accounting for a majority of the 'new endings' gets tired fast, and isn't funny enough to go through every ending for the slightly changed dialogue. And yes I get that that is the point. It doesn't annoy me in the slightest, but then, I didn't play the original. If I had, I might feel differently.
