⭐⭐⭐½☆ — A Cozy Sorting Simulator The Sorting Bureau is exactly the kind of game you play when you want to turn your brain off for a while and just do something. It's a very calming, cozy, and satisfying game. If you're looking for something relaxing to play while listening to something else, or you just need a game that lets you shut your brain off for a while, this is a great choice. 📦 [b]What I Liked[/b] The atmosphere is relaxing. The ambient sounds, and the view outside the workshop window all come together really well. I especially liked how the seasons change as the days pass, which gives the otherwise simple gameplay a nice sense of progression. There's also no pressure. The game doesn't have timers, deadlines for the orders, or punishment for mistakes. Just sorting, organizing, and putting things where they belong. It's incredibly calming and, honestly, sometimes that kind of mindless gameplay is exactly what you need. It's also a great game to play while listening to an audiobook, podcast, or music. You can give the sorting your attention while still having plenty of mental space for something else. ⚠️ [b]The Negative[/b] The biggest downside is repetition. The sorting orders start feeling pretty similar very quickly, and I think this is definitely a game that's better experienced over several shorter sessions rather than trying to finish it in one sitting. I finished the game in about 8–9 hours, which felt like a reasonable amount of time, but I definitely would have burned myself out if I'd tried to play through the entire thing at once. I also encountered one minor bug where the in game sound cut out while sorting a package. (My audiobook was still playing so it wasn't a computer issue.) Very calming, cute game. Sometimes you sort items by theme, color, material, etc. Other times you put them on a piece of paper either by color or shape. It has four seasons and just continues on and on. One "year" and 100% achievements took me around 6,5h. Amazing price as well. I found a little bug though: When stacking the items very fast, the entire sound cuts off and then restarts awfully loud.

Very cozy tidy organizing game. love the story. Would recommend if you want to give your OCD a great massage. The pick up many items feature is a bit buggy at times and doesn't pick up more than one item but it is still a cozy and fun to play game.

Can we talk about the sound design for a second. The rustling, the clicks, the thuds when things land, it all sounds like you're actually going through a box of buttons. Very ASMR, very cozy. The ambient sounds scratch my brain in the best way. I'd love more variety in the sounds, but honestly it's already great.
