The Sinking of the Dream Chaser follows an intricate mystery of a robot, Led, and his attempts to uncover his corrupted memory drive in order to find out what happened on the ship. It's a simple, free, point-and-click game with a story that remained surprising and fresh as you progressed. I only wish there were more. 6/10
Nice story wiht interesting characters. The background art could be a bit better though and it was kinda short, would be nice to continue
after we leave the ship
.
I will definitely remember this game, I enjoyed it and had a blast just turning my mind off and letting the game take me where it wanted to. I was suprised by the ending, though I'm sure others will figure it out I hope you'll let it come to you naturally. Please try it out and give it a shot! This is my play through as well as commentary along the way but please do still play the game yourself! https://youtu.be/X-bNkFEqV_E
Just finished the game. Very engaging story and I would love a follow up chapter! I also enjoyed the pixelated art style and loved the small details like blood, cracks on the floor, dented doors. Kudos to the team and I highly recommend this sort point n click adventure!
'The Sinking of the Dream Chaser' is a 2D point-and-click adventure game that takes you on a journey alongside Led, a servant robot with a mysterious past and a dire need for answers. This game features an enigmatic storyline, engaging point-and-click gameplay, a dynamic soundtrack, and stunning 2D visuals. It's a relatively short game, taking only 40 minutes to complete, and lacks any achievements. There's only one ending, and unfortunately, there isn't a save feature, preventing you from restarting or continuing from where you left off. I would rate its difficulty as 2/10, given its minimal gameplay and clear instructions throughout the entire game (your goal is to help LED find out what happened to himself, the ship, and his master). 'The Sinking of the Dream Chaser' delivers a captivating adventure set in a beautifully crafted post-apocalyptic world where you will embark on a quest to uncover the truth behind Led's existence, the fate of the ship, and the whereabouts of his master. The classic point-and-click gameplay adds a layer of engagement, making each interaction and puzzle-solving moment a satisfying part of the journey. The hand-drawn visuals are nothing short of stunning, immersing players in a detailed and atmospheric environment that enhances the overall gaming experience. What truly sets this free game apart is its enigmatic storyline. As Led, you embark on a quest to unravel the mysteries of your existence and the fate of the Dream Chaser. The narrative is rich, dynamic, and filled with unexpected twists that keep you hooked until the very end. The 2D visuals are a testament to the developers' attention to detail, creating a world that feels both intricate and immersive and the original musical score complements the atmospheric settings, adding depth to every moment of the game. In summary, 'The Sinking of the Dream Chaser' is a masterfully crafted adventure game that offers an extraordinary blend of storytelling, gameplay, and visuals. If you enjoy being drawn into a mysterious world with secrets waiting to be uncovered, this game is a must-play. I felt like this was demo... 20 mins? ... OK well its glitchy there is a path on the first dock area where you can walk above the water; for example... but if you read the text its very interesting, I wanted to know more ... so I hope this is continued into a full game. Honestly not a bad 20 mins of my life and it seems like some genuine effort here and I love a good point and click robot/scifi game. - This is def very DEMO feeling but still worth playing.
