The Short Bread Game is a cozy platformer where you help a piece of bread get to the bakery for breakfast. Though your path there may not be the most direct, you'll get to explore charming places. Jump high, run from enemies, and engage in witty dialogue with your odd new friend. Adventure awaits!

About

Being a piece of bread, you naturally crave a stack of pancakes for breakfast. To start off your day and, more importantly, fill your stomach, you set off on a journey to get the best pancakes in town. However, you soon realize you have no clue where the bakery is. Thankfully, it seems like an intruder in your house may just know where you can find it...
In this casual platformer, you explore environments ranging from your home to space. Though getting to your end goal doesn't seem hard at first, you soon find that the path there is a tad convoluted, with enemy desserts jumping around at every turn, trying to stop you. Not to mention, your new friend seems to enjoy messing around with you a bit.
If you're looking for a low-stress way to take a break, this may just be the game for you. :)

The game is cute and is good for being a first game. It is a short game. The worst part is the controls having a little delay after you let go, but I would still recommend it. 7/10
Lots of fun, great game.
Cool visually! Controls with mouse are odd but the game itself is entertaining eye candy.
There is one annoying jump in the last level that I did not like, but this is a really good game <3
I got this game cause I wanted a cozy platform game. I don't recommend this if you're an exclusive cozy gamer. When you are "killed" you have to start at the beginning of the level which gets quite frustrating the 3rd or 4th time. It would be WAY better and more chill and cozy if it just had you start right where you left off. It also appears that you can't turn off the audio? OR the developers don't have it set up in a user friendly manner, because I couldn't figure it out.
This is a very good game. The movement is simple and straightforward. The obstacles are creative and fun. This game is fun for all ages and is easy to get into. The dialogue is lifelike and the puns are lovely. The game is obviously made with care. Overall, I think this game is a fantastic platformer and should be played by anyone who wants to have a good time.
