Very dark ad=nd very well built plot and lore, though theres a lot of traumatic stuff but also muvh good yuri and relationships hehe
7.5/10. A genuinely enjoyable experience that feels just too short and rushed in my opinion, and with a story that's enjoyable and interesting but that ultimately doesn't deliver on what it could philosophically. Technical details/Presentation it's a VN, so nothing special here. The forums mention crashes and such but I had none playing the game. Unfortunately fullscreen is exclusive, and non-native res, so it forces an ugly refresh that caused all my other windows to jump to my other monitor, and I couldn't tab away with the game open, so I wound up just playing in window mode. As for presentation, the art is nice but the eyes are a little unnerving (maybe intentionally?). Music did a good job of enhancing the atmosphere. Gameplay This is a VN, so the "gameplay" is just choices - not "choices" actually, but just a single choice near the end of the story. It's impossible to miss anything unless you don't try all the choices (and do the obvious thing one typically does for
a true route
). Story The store page already feels a little spoilery to me, so I don't intend to describe anything specific beyond what's listed there, but a few things to point out: Don't get this unless you're okay with yuri, because boy, is it ever yuri. There are no actual sex scenes, and the MC doesn't actually have a romance with any character unfortunately, but the sexual tension is absolutely palpable at times. Yet at the same time, there's also some straight romance as well (for side characters), so it's not one-sided. The game feels weirdly current in some of the references it makes--either to specific world events or general global concerns I've seen in the news in the last six months. These things aren't the focus of the story so they aren't explored in any detail, but these smart references bolster the believability of the scenes they're in. The ending of the story is interesting in unexpected ways. To give even a vague explanation would spoil it, but it's worth noting that it's a bit unique. The pacing seemed weird to me (I hate that term because most people confuse it for "this game was longer than I wanted it to be" but that's not what I mean). The MC of course has a special ability, but she spends most of the story unable to control it--there's only one final fight where she does indeed use her ability deliberately, and it's over within a few lines of text - you don't see anything grand in action despite the incredibly grand claims about the ability. Semi-related to the above, there are a number of things directly related to the plot that aren't really explained. For some of those things it's reasonable that they weren't explained - they were ultimately not the story's focus - but other things don't quite fit in my mind with the lore, so I'd have like them explained a bit. Overall I really enjoyed the experience, but I found it all a little short for my preference, and with too few characters that the MC spends any real quality time with. There's about 6 who persist through the game, but only two (3 debatably) who the MC spends down time doing fun things with, and that stuff was relatively sparse in comparison to the plot-driven stuff. Even Muv Luv had plenty of slice of life stuff (an entire VN dedicated to it). Some more would have been nice here.
What a waste of potential. I only read the Jessica ending and it feels like a natural conclusion to the story and I don't care to read the rest. This is carried by its visuals and voice acting. The story in this is a mess. It starts off decent but kind of boring but after about three hours it picks up significantly. But then it periodically has massive info dumps contradicting what was previously revealed. It eventually just gets convoluted and should have just stuck to one of the original story lines. I also think they missed out on potential horror elements. The text has some but none of the CGs reflect it. None of the characters are great and all are carried by their voice acting. All of them are fairly popular to very popular anime VAs. There is no reason Jessica should be 10 other then they wanted a gothic lolita. 10 year olds are also fairly dumb and don't act like that. It might be explained in the true ending but everyone dislikes the MC at first then 5 minutes later everyone is in love with her. Yang is barely in the game and the male cast could have been written out. The only real characters are the trio for yuri bait. For an all ages game it is not really all ages. Sure it has no nipples shown but it has multiple implied rapes, molestation, death/violence, many nude CGs and nude sprites. All of that with (sometimes very) underage children. But sure all ages.
Mbuh i don't even understand all of the plot but this is such a story

It's alright, some of the story pisses me off because the player learns stuff that the protagonist doesn't know, and I'm like "Just talk to each other ffs"
意犹未尽。虽然确实有一些剧情上的漏洞没有圆回来,但整体还是十分推荐的。
What makes this game special is its own brand of psychological horror, sometimes very well done. Otherwise the story is maybe too much complicated and has a lot of turns, making some details difficult to understand. It has 4 endings, 3 of which are intermediate and pretty mediocre and unfulfilling. After playing all 3, the 4th one is unlocked and that's the true ending where things end better. However, I found that the game loses steam as it reaches its ending. But it's a good experience overall. There are lesbian scenes distributed among the game, they don't amount to much but keep it in mind if you like or dislike them. They're just nude scenes of closeness and affection, nothing very fancy.
