The scar is an open world adventure and survival game, where you can create your own weapons and tools, build bases and fight against what were once humans and aliens. You will be able to use Ashun's summons, which to our eyes is magic.

edit 2: I'm going to star with the second edit as to not sully your view of the game with my initial thoughts. I was right, I did just need to git gud. Believe it or not, the best source of is thirst is actually water, it's just you have to find a water source first, definitely base near there as water is basically a constant concern (tip: water drains at 1 pt per 30 seconds no matter if you're running or standing still, so plan accordingly). Also, blueberries aren't that rare, I was just pretty unlucky. BTW hunger drains at 1 per 20 seconds, so double plan accordingly. pretty damn interesting, sadly it's hard as ♥♥♥♥, like in my first 2 hours I basically soft locked myself twice because when you die, you have to load a save, and my only saves had me low on hunger and thirst, so I basically had to restart the first time, also because night is like pitch black, and I didn't save enough fiber for a torch, or a bed, as both are rather expensive making it so I can only make 1 each of the 2 main tools, both of which have rather low durability, but it's understandable considering rather early game you probably upgrade to metal, minigame forged tools. This second run I'm trying to recover. Basically hunger is easy enough to get, because you can cook mutant meat and eat it with no ill effects, but thirst isn't the same story, either drinking mutant blood that injures you, and blueberries, which are seeming rare, neither of which I can really acquire in effective amounts as mutant blood doesn't give you a lot of thirst, and blueberries, as I said, are rare. Furthermore, thirst is increased by the easiest to acquire, and most effective early game food (cooked meat), by a somewhat large amount, making it further unsustainable. I am taking a break from this run as of now because it looks somewhat hopeless, but I will finish my review when I play the game a bit longer. Overall, is the game good? It seems very promising, but when the early game is essentially permadeath, it's a little hard to see is this promise has any merit. I'm sure if the dev did some rebalencing, or I just git gud (lmao), I would enjoy this game more, but at the current moment, it's a cautious recommend. a few tips if you decide to get this game: day 1, farm as much fiber as you can, trees drop some fiber, but the real source is the plants on the ground. Make sure to invest in crafting first, then stamina, as I think those are the meta early game perks. Get a bed, and if it's getting dark, at least make a torch because, as I said, darkness is no joke in this game. As you make it to day 2, either by sleeping, or by using a torch, make sure to mine iron, and clay, iron is small shiny rocks, and clay is the flat rocks, after you get both, make a crucible, and a furnace, but be sure to put the crucible in the tool slot of the furnace instead of accidentally throwing it through the ground like I did. Try to get at least 6 iron nuggets, as I'm pretty sure that's enough for 2 bars, then make a bottle and a pot, as the pot will finally let you cook meat making it much less dangerous, and the bottle will let you drink mutant blood, which is a somewhat alright early game water source. after that, I'm not sure, as that's where I am right now, but I'm sure the game will get easier as you progress. edit 1: maybe this is 3 am delirium, but I've changed my mind. I do need to git gud, I am certain this game will be good if I make it past the initial hurtles, I think I'm going to start a new run tomorrow, and I will document my further opinions later
