Let it be known that I played for a second time because I played it offline the first time, and apparently your playtime isn't recorded, and therefore you can't leave a review. Three pros: illustrated cutscenes are nice, voice acting is good, and the game is theoretically 23 minutes long. That's it. I've streamed this game, so I have it documented that it took me 1 hour, 50 minutes, and 42 seconds. 6,642 seconds. That's 5,262 too many seconds. I make no claim that I'm an elite gamer by any means, but there's a difference between being slow and not understanding something because of really bad game design. The biggest offender of this is the secret room puzzle. Even though the solution is simple, there's no indication that the levers actually have a set amount of switches before it resets its counts with a wiggle animation. First impression is that it meant I was doing something right, but it took far too long to realize that it was by no means the case. Other real complaints I have are the sound design and sluggish walking. The secret room puzzle is the biggest offender and motivation for typing this review out, so they pale in comparison. The last Lovecraft story-based game I played, I thought it was inoffensive for a free game. I can't have the same sentiment for this.

I don't recommend it. Even though it's a free game, there are some issues that I've noticed that make the game not worth playing. There is no run option, you're walking at a slow pace almost like you're drunk with moon boots on. There are different glitches that causes your game to just stop (Ladder glitch, blood plate glitch), and with the game being a game where you have to play the entire thing in one go with no saves, it sucks the fun out of it. I wasted an hour because of the ladder glitch, after spending 10 minutes looking for the last two wood pieces it decided to double up my character and show me the image of the ladder. That's it. If you are wanting to play it: make sure your brightness level is all the way up and the shadows option all the way down, it makes searching for the ladder wood pieces much easier. Also the lever puzzle: click the rat/mouse lever twice, owl lever once, and wolf lever 4 times.
i got to the first puzzle and even when given the answer nothing happened. Also it was boring. Also i probably suck at puzzles.
bedava olsa dahi indirip oynamaya değmez. oyunu kaydetme şasınız yok ve bir bug olduğunda oyuna yeniden başlamak gerekiyor. ayrıca hareketiniz acı verecek ölçüde yavaş.
Отличная игра получилась. Разработчик, молодец. Багов не заметил. Может повезло))) Жаль короткая. Хотя для бесплатной игры грех жаловаться))) https://youtu.be/-lSLuqCatOc
Shows a massive lack of QA testing of any kind. Controls are imprecise and barely playable, screen shake is an irritant instead of a disorienting factor, and there are no animations for the PC's interactions with the world, not even holding books. 3/10, functional but only just
Mal ein cooles Point and Click Horror mal was anderes .

I really tried to complete this game, however, after many hours of trying, as well as following a walkthrough video, I finally had to quit. Not recommended.
It can be quite buggy
