[quote]Warning: Dangerous/Unsafe software.[/quote] "The Paperman" is a rather suspicious "adventure" game that eschews the usual jumpscares you find in asset flips to do something much more sinister, as this hijacks your web browser and takes you to a specific site on the internet. This is not okay. Why? It's trivial for any bad actor to compromise that website and embed some malware/browser hack in there. Which would mean everyone who plays this "game" runs a solid risk of having their PC compromised by anyone who gets their hand on the website. This is a foolhardy and dangerous thing to do, any developer with half an inkling about security should know how dangerous this is. The hardest part of any hacking, rootkit installation or other system compromise is convincing the user to fall for your malicious payload carrying trojan horse. Well, these "developers" handed them an attack vector on a velvet cushion. Under no circumstances can I in good conscience recommend anyone puts themselves at risk by playing this "game". Unfortunately, gamers, sometimes we have to rely on ourselves as a community to warn others about risks. Be safe out there.
