On April 6th 2009 the Carson family disappeared from their home in Richmond, and were never heard from again. The last known communication with the family came when Mr.Carson contacted local police to report the occurrence of a series of unexplained phenomena.

Interesting experience with some creepy scares. Some room for improvement, but overall a unique and enjoyable experience
it's really slow and boring 5.3/10
Ich habe mich zwar nicht sehr gegruselt (mag anderen anders gehen) aber für den Preis unterhaltsam und schön anzugucken. 5/10 Punkten.

This is an updated review after speaking with the developer privately about a lot of issues I was having with the game. This is basically just was "Harvester of Sorrow" said as well. Basically the game requirs you to look around constantly to "trigger" events to happen. If you just stared in one general direction "waiting" like I was, you would go through very long periods of absolutely nothing which was frustrating and boring. After talking to the Dev, he actually already updated the game with some simple suggestions that I think will definitely help people from not having the same issues I did! With that being said, now that the changes have been made and I was able to play through the experience, it is definitely nicely done. The story is interesting, and creepy at the same time. Think of this like a much longer version of The Visitor. Exact same concept, non-interactive, you just sit and watch creepy things happen around you. If you liked The Visitor and want something similar but much longer, this is definitely for you. For $2 it's definitely a good buy for this time of year. Play through probably takes about 20-25 minutes from start to finish.

Its a showcase for scary tropes. Bland, plain, flat textured geometric graphics are below average. Too many slow sections. Albeit small, but a sense of tension is conveyed. Worth a watch but I'd never pay for it.
If you look at this more like an animated horror film with about a half hour running time, it's well worth the asking price. I'm not sure why the husband never runs for it though. The first few things that happen could be written off, but seriously, most people, including me would have booked it. The clown doll was unique and the story line could be read several different ways. But where and why does someone get creepy life-sized dolls? How would a realtor sell a home with those assets to anyone who has seen even one horror movie? Still it's a clear tribute to at least one horror film and not half bad for its age.

«The Night The Carsons Disappeared» — атмосферная инди-игра с нелинейным сюжетом, где игрок разгадывает тайну исчезновения семьи.
