TL;DR: This game is a sloppy, glitchy mess. Everything about this game is frustrating at best. There are multiple areas that produce game breaking glitches. I learned to avoid these areas as much as possible during my play through, which proved difficult since the instructions given by the quest giver were often unclear. I am aware that this game was originally in Chinese, so the vague instructions might be due to a poor translation, but that's no excuse. There is no journal or quest log to help you keep track of your objectives between play sessions. If you have infinite time to sit and play through the whole game in a sitting you might not even notice this, but most adults don't have that luxury. I'd wager most children don't either. There is a map that you get after several hours of game play, but it's basically useless due to a complete lack of any labels or the most basic understanding of how the various areas connect to each other. In the areas where monsters spawn, you're likely to be attacked every three tiles or so, which wouldn't be so bad if the combat was layered and nuanced enough to justify that much focus, but it's not. You might learn a lot of abilities that seem interesting, but you'll quickly discover that only a few of those abilities are worth using and the same animations are reused over and over. The art for the main characters of the game is sloppy, which I might be able to forgive if the devs had at least followed through and made all of the art for the game in their style, but they didn't. Let's players beware, there's at least one copy righted song in this game that I've confirmed so far, and I wouldn't be surprised if all of the music was lifted from other projects. Originally I had planned on not reviewing this game until I'd played it all the way to the end, but I couldn't actually finish it, not because it became too challenging or too confusing, but because a path that should have connected me to an area I hadn't been yet didn't actually connect. I tried everything I could think of to fix it, but I ultimately had to accept that the game is simply broken. I have no idea if any of these problems are in the original Chinese version of this game, but I can say without a doubt that the English translation is not worth any of your time.

Saw this game on my wishlist and decided to give it a run. While the translation is somewhat understandable the game still has untranslated text and missing resources (entering one building will cause the game to be flooded with missing *.ogg, and going upstairs after the breakfast sequence triggers a missing png error). Upon playing further in the game the amount of bugs has seemed to be not as bad as those two main areas. Still it'd be nice if the developer fixed those bugs, but both of them can be entirely avoided by not going in said buildings.
