About

THE MULLER-POWELL PRINCIPLE is a sci-fi thriller taking place in the near future. You are Harry Herman, a scientist at Delta Laboratories, a research company that specializes in interdimensional travel. You had been participating in a project that was supposed to benefit all humanity, but something went terribly wrong. To uncover the secrets of Delta Labs and set things right, you'll have to make your way through odd and surrealistic worlds.

Solve various puzzles and trick enemies with your special tool - the Portable Energy Manipulator, a weapon designed to operate with various types of energy․
PHYSICS PUZZLES & INTERACTIVE ENVIRONMENT
In this game, the solutions to the puzzles aren't obvious. Sometimes all it takes is finding a generator and plugging it in to power up a room. However, in many cases, a more complex approach is needed. You'll be interacting with many objects, such as computer terminals to find clues, obstacles to remove, and boxes to carry. Even a simple mug may come in handy. Explore the environment to find the best of many possible solutions. Here, you won't find a cube dispenser or a highlighted exit door at the end. It's all on you to figure out.
PORTABLE ENERGY MANIPULATOR
The device you carry throughout the game can absorb different energy types from the environment and use them to perform various tasks.
Absorbing energy from a particular source will give the gun its properties. Use heat from fire and radiators to melt glass, disable security cameras with a beam of light, and take hazardous radiation from toxic puddles scattered across Delta facilities. Eventually, you'll encounter quantum entanglement energy sources - the mysterious power capable of opening rifts between worlds.
Strange and dangerous creatures inhabit parallel universes. Most of the time, you can't defeat your enemies. But the Manipulator may help you to outsmart and bypass them. Some enemies can be frozen in place using the force field energy, while others are sensitive to light, so you'll have to blind them. The further you advance, the more thinking it will take to find your way out of another trap.

You find yourself alone in one of Delta Labs' off-world research facilities in an unknown dimension. Everything around here looks as if it's about to fall apart. As you find a radio transmitter, some people will contact you. It looks like they’re old acquaintances: Eugene and Alex, and it seems they want to help you find your way back. Here’s the thing: one of them is very friendly, while the other clearly thinks you’ve made a huge mistake and blames you for it. But whose advice is better to follow on your journey through parallel universes and surreal worlds?
Experience a story where your choice really matters. Can you get to the bottom of this, or just try to escape? Who to listen to? Who to trust? Which side will you take? Will you finally break the Muller-Powell Principle? That depends entirely on you.

Make your way back to Earth through mysterious parallel dimensions littered with puzzles and secrets to discover, uncover mysterious connections between the worlds you visit and reveal the dark truth behind Delta Labs and your connection to them.

Pretty good game.
3 different endings
If you play on ultrawide you can use UuuClient to get the desired FOV.
I don't know. There are just too many things about this game that are really nice and awfully bad at the same time and it just feels off. The bad things felt bad enough that I just didn't want to continue, because it killed my confidence that the good parts would continue to pan out. The good: -Puzzle gun function is somewhat of a fresh idea. -Base graphics are quite nice, world is well detailed. The bad: -Voice acting and dialogue scripting is one of the worst things I've ever experience in an otherwise good looking game. It comes across very unprofessionally done and like the actors all wrote their own lines based on their favorite anime dialogue with bad translation. Not sure how to describe it better than that. Like they put on a bad British inflection when they try to sound smart or confident. It's both anti-expository and hyper-expository. One minute you are best friends with someone, then the next they are walking you through a simple process that you, a lead scientist, should know. One voice line to the next doesn't have flow. Like they were recorded, scripted, and inserted completely separately. A simple example of bad scripting: "Blast yourself out of there, it's an emergency." *you blast out a window* "Woah did you just destroy that window?? It's really expensive." -The moving graphics sometimes feel bad. -There are bodies everywhere, but they are all 100% intact with some ketchup all over. Takes me back to Goldeneye 64. A very stark low quality contrast planted within a high quality environment. -Jarring bright instant flashing cutscenes and camera focus hijacking. -You're walking down a hallway and a cutscene flashes on screen. When it ends you are 3 feet in the air and fall to the ground. Just a LOT of little stuff like that.
