The Man Came Around is a survival game with narrative choices. Play five activists fleeing a police state. Cross the border. Evade the cops. Scavenge resources. Survive the elements. Will you put your group at risk to help others along the way, or betray your principles to survive?

It's a short survival point and click game with a cool art style. The messaging is a bit on the nose, but ultimately completely necessary especially with how things are currently. If you got 2 hours I think it's worth it. Especially if you try to keep all the survivors alive.
Wouaw super scenario et les illustrations ainsi que l'ambiance musicale est bien abouti. Je recommande vivement ce jeu. Hate des extensions :D
I paid money for this game before it became free I'm so sad (positive review because I still like the game)

In "The Man Came Around," you lead five activists on a daring escape from a dystopian regime. It's like "This War of Mine" meets "Choose Your Own Adventure," but with more snow and fewer warm blankets. Survive the cold, dodge the cops, and make choices that could make or break your group. It's free, so why not test your survival skills and moral compass?
A great little game you can finish in a sitting. Everything comes together nicely to make this a treat. Only downside is just part of the game in the sense that I lost a 90% roll and in a fit of annoyance I just said "♥♥♥♥ it" to crossing a mine field at 34% straight after and of course crossed without a hitch.... Full price may make it feel like you didn't get your money's worth purely due to the length but if it's on sale pick it up.
I really love the game's atmosphere, you're really sucked in by the design and the music. Great gameplay with moral choices giving you the opportunity to play over again with a completely different output. Highly recommend!
A great game! I read in the reviews "made me feel things", that's really it. You're forced to make difficult choices, but it's very well presented and in the end it's not that hard since you have tons to do. You're always stressed by the outcome of an action, but it's an interesting and exciting kind of stress that keeps you playing. You feel the cold, but the survivalist aspect isn't as heavy as in some survival games. You get attached to the characters, and you can find out more about their stories while playing. The different story arcs allow for replayability with new choices and consequences. This remind me of "Paper Please", which also has a similar theme. Of course, the theme is thrilling and revolting. The music and graphics are also fabulous and highly original. An indie game just the way we like it!
I love the music and the atmosphere. Nice to see a different game for once. The choices are 'fun'. I recommend!
