The Magic Elevator

[h1]Experienced on the Oculus Rift[/h1] This is basically a VR rollercoaster, where you're on an elevator with glass panes. Whole thing takes approximately 30 minutes. You don't use motion controllers. You can press spacebar to re-center. There is a mini-game where you gaze at the trash to collect all the trash in the scenes. LOL, I wish I was joking there. Anyways, anybody who follows me knows that I love VR rollercoasters. Yet I decided to refund this one. I was going to do a video review for this game, but I lost all my motivation to experience this game again and talk about it. It was that bad. My problem with this game is that it seemed to me that each of the 5 "magical worlds" lacked coherence. It honestly looked like just a bunch of assets from the Unity / Unreal Engine marketplace were thrown in together haphazardly. Some of it made sense, most of it didn't. The worlds weren't interesting. The scales were off. The animations were poor. It wasn't pretty to look at. It wasn't fun. I just wanted to get out of the magic elevator. That's why I refunded it. I rarely do that. I don't think I've ever done that with a VR rollercoaster. I definitely think the price does not match the quality of the content. This is $1.99 price territory at the most for mobile VR quality. [b]Rate 3/10. [/b]

Decent VR rollercoaster experience. +5 world with different theme such as sea, space -many of the objects are weird and not in places

This is great, really. I put on my headset being skeptical and taking notes in my mind. I thought from the videos it looked like just a bunch of assets thrown together. But it was very peaceful and i found it really meditative. All the small details happening around were great, I was never bored, and a beautiful strangely coherent world. I felt very connected. This is now my go to app for meditation and recommend for such purposes.

This experience takes you on magical rides with a flying elevator. There are different themed worlds to choose and they take you on a relaxing journey. There is so much to see all around you that you keep discovering new things. There is also a little gameplay included. Throughout the scenery there is garbage to collect. Keep gazing at the polluted barrels and a giant vacuumtube will clear it giving you points. This experience will really work well if you do public or family demos where youth is involved (age 8 and up) but it will surely appeal to adults as well. It's beautiful in it's simplicity and I recommend it if you are looking for a laidback tranquilic VR experience.

Short and weird. Should be half the price. Get this on sale or not at all.

This is one of my favorite things to do in VR, this is a fun little program that if you are a little older and want to enjoy VR without having to do things just to be in the environment. You have I think 5 adventures to go on, the best part is all you have to do is look, you do not use controllers in this game. There are some very magical places and things you will see and experience, if you want to be involved, you can pick up trash along the adventure and gain points. I think the developers have a great concept for those of us that just enjoy the experience and wonder of VR, I hope they come out with more adventures to travel, Good Job.
