Great style, awesome story, grossly unappreciated soundtrack. 100/10. Even if you haven't read Brain Jacques, you should still play this game. Would recommend this game.
The camera is so far up the mouse butt it makes me feel claustrophobic and nauseous.
My girlfriend made me play this but im glad I did. This is a short, enjoyable indie with an amazing soundtrack and delightful atmosphere. Huge respect for the dev team for continuing to update and improve the game as well. Excited to play act 2

i love redwall and i love this game!! cant wait to play more
I have been a major fan of the Redwall book and tv show series, I even had to spend $120 just to get my hands on a original copy of season 1, Brian Jacques not only was a great author but also an amazing human being. Please give this game a shot as well as check out his books, please also consider buying merch from https://www.redwallabbey.com if you are a fellow fan and didn't know they even had a shop! Also keep an eye out for a Brian Jacques memorial in the game, it hit hard for me personally.
I enjoyed this book series growing up and was surprised to see that I had missed that they made it into a game series. I loved it. The story telling is spot on with Brian Jacques original stories. The art and animation is perfectly aligned to the art from the books. I only wish they had made more than the 4 episodes.
This game is FANTASTIC! If you like anything about the Redwall book series, then this game is definitely for you. The attention to the story and characters are so spot on, it feels like it could have come from the mind of Brian Jaques himself. The mechanics are interesting and well thought out. It is mostly a stealth game, 3d platformer, and visual novel. The art is amazing and the music is exceptional (I highly suggest getting the OST). This game isn't perfect by any means, as there are a few glitches and it did crash on me a few times while playing, but I know for a fact that the development team are actively working on it to try and solve those issues, even now that the game is over 4 years old. Even if you aren't a fan of the Redwall series, it is still a charming game that would let any fan of 3d platformers and/or games with a good story get into it. If you are a fan of the series, then the easter eggs spread throughout the game will enhance the experience ten-fold. Highly recommend.
Very cute and wholesome game. As someone who read all the Redwall books when I was younger this was very touching to play. Gorgeous art style and graphics, great character design, voice acting, and story. Gameplay was a little clunky at times but still very fun. My only complaint is that it wasn't longer. I would play a whole RPG in this art style set in the world of Redwall. Not sure if Act 2 is out yet, I will definitely buy
This game is pretty. The soundtrack is good. Even the dialogue is vary 'I'm an early 90's fantasy novel' esc. In every sense of the word, from the limited Redwall novels that I've read, this fits the vague idea of what I'd imagine a Redwall game to be. Unfortunately, the actual game is a clunky and broken disaster, and their choice to split this into three acts is saddening to say the least. From the time that I streamed the game, it was slow, unresponsive, excessive dialogue to explain exceedingly simple mechanics (and just about anything), a surprising lack of direction after the first five minutes, and mechanics that sound cool on paper (like scents) that in practice make the game even slower to play. It's exceedingly easy to get out of bounds because I did so multiple times on accident thinking there were things to get only to discover the devs forgot boundry borders around most of the first hub space, and was overall rather clunky to play. Even the movement is jittery and rather clunky. Our character doesn't move like a mouse. Sure, the animations do, but feel-wise, the protagonist moves like a mouse if you strapped a bunch of weights onto them. The game feels like it was aimed more at children, but the lack of direction, easy-to-find glitches, and incredibly lengthy dialogue sessions with characters that just aren't that interesting make me wonder who this was supposed to be aimed at. It's too simple for fans of a series that started back in 1986, it's too complicated for children who might be discovering Redwall for the first time, and it's too tedious and slow for someone who's only read the first few books like myself. I love mice. They're my favorite species behind polar bears. I think there's potential here - I really do! The art and music are quite well done! But this? This isn't it. To the devs: try something smaller, custom made, outside of the Redwall mythos. 4/10 "Even the strongest and bravest must sometimes weep." ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ
