So many dead early access survival games. Why did you let so many of these flood the market Gaben? Why?
The game won't play, dev has abandoned the game, don't waste your money.
i7 4790/8GB ram/GTX970 Takes forever to load the game, and lower than 20 fps, looked fun with screenshot but cant even play for more than 10 seconds

2/10 - In the state the game is currently in I can not recommend it at all. Sure, the game may look decent but it's far from it. When I first started the game there were crates and other things floating in the air and I thought it's some graphic glitches which aren't uncommon in EAG (Early Access Games) but after I started walking around I got stuck on invisible things and all of a sudden a house was loading in on me and I got stuck in the floor and couldn't move. I restarted the game and waited a couple minutes to let the game load the buildings and the rest of the things and then set out to explore since I was now able to see what was there and in my way. I was only able to enter one of the buildings in the area I started in and there's no explanation whatsoever on what you can do, other than walking around that is. A look into the control settings reveals that you use E to pick things up so I tried to pick up various things but nothing worked until I finally got a response after pressing the E button multiple times when standing in front of a bag which had a couple of things in it like cans of food and bottles of water. I put them in my inventory, the game lagged for a moment and suddenly the bag that was empty a moment ago was now filled with more cans and bottles. I guess the game comes with its own duping mechanism. ;) I tried to open the door by also pressing E but nothing happened so my first thought was, damn I guess that's it until I figured out that you just have to walk right into the doors to get them to open. Guys, this is not how doors work, okay? Great, now that I'm finally outside I walk around some more, pick up a knife and an axe and then decided to leave the small town, if you can call it that, after stocking up on food and water and explore the wilderness. Found a shrine of some sorts, a building on top of a hill, a castle you can't get into, a camp in the middle of nowhere and then I found the temple and that's where my story ends because I went down into it but I guess someone forgot the stairs because once you jump down, you're stuck and can't get back out. All in all, in the state this game is currently in, it's nothing but a walking simulator. Just pack all the food and water you can and don't worry about anything else because you won't need it. There's no story, no goal (except to eat and stay hydrated) and definitely not worth the money. The game has been released almost a year ago and considering that it feels a little like the developers have given up and abandoned the game. TL;DR - Don't buy unless you like walking simulators. Had issue running it on my one pc so installed on a much beefier Pc. Ran it and started playing, Graphics are terrible, the controls are even worse. Ran into someone with a sword and a box in front of him, took the stash and went to him and he started attacking me.. I hit him once and he just vanished, eh ok, so i went a little ways down the path and ran into him laying off the path a little.. he was jittering around like he was having a siezure or something. Inventory is a joke and having to drag things to it isn't fun. Understand there would be issues but this is just a bit too much to play this at the moment for me. I will change my review when I see work being done to this, but won't recommend it like it is, Im glad I got this dirt cheap because full price is not worth it.
Won't even start... don't pay for this trash
Um.....NO....not until it grows up and gets a "real" set of controls where i can customize them. I don't play "handicapped" games, not even early access. A great idea is useless if you can't enjoy it your way. Plus, it's the only game i own (out of over 800+) that won't work correctly with my latest Nvidia card.
let's just keep this short. don't waste ANYTHING on this pile of sh#t. i'm talking about the dinosaur sized pile of sh#t as seen in jurassic park here. this turd has been in early access for two years and there have been no updates in more than a year. by now we all know what that means. this game is a scam and needs to be removed from steam. ignore the trailer and the screenshots for they are all fake. the game isn't even remotely close to look anything like that. just as fake as the few positive reviews you will find here by the way. one of the spineless devs even reviewed his own abomination. most of the time the game simply fails to launch but if it does you realize within seconds that you've made a mistake. it looks horrible, it sounds awful, it performs terrible regardless of settings and basically you can't do anything since pretty much everything is just plain broken. you can't even save your progress. not that you are going to make any progress but still. avoid at all costs and if you own it already then get a refund immediately. if i spend more time with this piece of sh#t it will be purely for the achievements but i doubt they even work since the bloody game doesn't even launch most of the time. you will not find a single second of joy or fun here. the only thing these 'developers' deserve is terminal cancer.
Talk about unplayable, glad I got this for free because this game is utter. Let us just leave it at that and move on.
