The Lift

Regarding the story the game tries to be something more than actually is. The concept is mediocre, and the execution is very elementary. If this is the first game ever made by only one person, then I would say that this is a very good first try. Nevertheless, it is broken in so many ways; doors closing in front of the player rather than behind him, doors closing and trapping you in the corners etc. It bugged three times while playing, something that really made me not to want to continue playing. In conclusion, this should have been a free a game for all those issues to be justified.

あるアパートの13階に行くつもりがエレベーターの故障に巻き込まれ……という状況でスタート。 各階にあるエレベーターのボタンを集めて上階を目指します。 言語は英語とロシア語のみ。 読まなくても進めますがストーリー重視なので読めたほうが無難。それなりに長文もあるので、Google翻訳先生にお願いしよう(´・ω・`) セーブはオートセーブっぽいので気にしなくてOK クリアまでの時間は1時間位。脇道には特に何も無いので、ひたすら目の前の道を突き進めばクリア可能です。 急に「来る」場面は数カ所ありますが、それ以外は雰囲気ゲーなので苦手な人でも多分大丈夫。 操作はWASDキーで移動、Eキーでアクション、Fキーでライターを点けられますが暗すぎて前が見えねエ。 ですので壁沿いや床を照らしながら進むことが多くなると思います。 階段を登る速度がバグかスタックしたと思うレベルで遅く、真正面を向いて登らないと上に行けません。横や下を向いて登ると何故か降りてしまうので注意。 ストーリー等は伏せますがクリアし終わった第一声は「は……？」でした。 約400円で購入しましたが少し高いなって感じの内容なので、もっと安くなるまで待ったほうが良いと思います。

Don't really know if I would recommened this game or not due to some personal preferences in games, but here's a shot for those who read reviews: Quick playthrough, not sure if it's worth the money as it is pretty short. I think the main reason I would not recommened the game is that there won't be any updates to it. The bugs that the game has just has the "start new game" as solution in case something doens't load or when you get stuck... which isn't the most fun solution when you try to stay in the game like I do. In general, there is a plot, pretty straight forward but you'd have to sit through the game to understand it or to have it make sense. Music and sound effects are on spot, I think probably the best part of the game in my opinion. Lacks a bit in guidelines for controls (visibility wise) in my opinion, but that's something that easily can be figured out.
