This side story to "The Fruit of Grisaia" is a character-driven visual novel featuring some of the same characters. This time, it's Michiru who takes the lead role in this slapstick comedy. A laugh-out-loud side story detailing the Mihama girls' school hijinks.

cutest game ever
Very short (35 min or so) goofy side story to fruit of Grisaia. If you liked the humour of the base game then you may like this one. No deep or existential content though, just fooling around.
This looks like it should be a little extra serving of the common route’s signature shenanigans, except that it’s not at all funny, ignores the established characterization, and is actually rather mean (yes, mean by Grisaia’s comedy standards). Written by completely different people with no input from the main authors, I guess, as is the filler’s way? I think even the completionists should be safe to skip this one.
Thanks kissei
The Leisure of Grisaia was a delightful experience! It's great to see the cast of Grisaia hanging out together enjoying themselves.
The Leisure of Grisaia Recommended Length: Very Short (<1 Hours) Number of Routes: 1 Choices: No Character Rating: Good Story Progression: Good Music Rating: Good (not sure if there was anything new though) Achievement Difficulty: 0 Additional Thoughts: A very short side story for 'Fruit of Grisaia', in which follows that novel's common route's style of comedy. otherwise the short experience was still pretty decent to read through as a follow-up after the main novel.
7/10 - 1 hour long Its a short and sweet (SFW) fan service game without Yuuji. Not bad but not great - would only recommend if you like the series enough to want more.
The Leisure of Grisaia is a deliberately relaxed and playful entry in the wider Grisaia universe, created as a tonal counterbalance to the emotionally heavy mainline titles. Developed by Frontwing and published internationally by Frontwing USA, the game is best understood not as a sequel or narrative continuation, but as a fan-oriented interlude that exists to celebrate character chemistry, humor, and everyday absurdity. Where the core Grisaia trilogy is defined by trauma, moral ambiguity, and intense psychological storytelling, The Leisure of Grisaia consciously steps away from that weight, offering something closer to a comedic breather that rewards familiarity with the cast. The setting returns to Mihama Academy, but stripped of looming conspiracies and emotional confrontations. Instead, the focus is on idle moments, exaggerated situations, and character banter that highlights the personalities fans already know well. The narrative is intentionally low-stakes, unfolding as a series of humorous vignettes rather than a tightly structured plot. This approach allows the game to lean fully into comedy, often bordering on parody, without the need to justify its existence through dramatic escalation. It feels less like a traditional visual novel arc and more like a collection of bonus scenes that might otherwise have existed as anime extras or short stories. Much of the spotlight is given to Michiru Matsushima, whose energetic, chaotic personality drives a large portion of the humor. Her exaggerated reactions, rapid-fire dialogue, and self-aware silliness form the backbone of many scenes, while the rest of the Mihama cast plays off her antics in ways that feel both familiar and affectionate. Rather than developing characters in new directions, the game amplifies traits already established in The Fruit of Grisaia, leaning into comedic extremes for effect. This makes the experience particularly rewarding for long-time fans, as jokes often rely on an understanding of prior character dynamics. Interactivity is minimal, even by visual novel standards. Player choices are sparse and largely inconsequential, reinforcing the idea that this is a guided experience meant to be enjoyed rather than shaped. The lack of branching routes or alternate endings may disappoint players looking for narrative depth or replay-driven discovery, but it aligns perfectly with the game’s intent. The Leisure of Grisaia wants to be consumed casually, enjoyed in a single sitting, and remembered for its humor rather than its structure. Visually, the game maintains the familiar Grisaia aesthetic, with clean character sprites, expressive facial animations, and a selection of CG illustrations that emphasize comedic timing and fanservice rather than dramatic framing. Some artwork originally tied to anime releases and bonus materials is integrated here, giving dedicated fans a sense of completeness and archival value. The art direction doesn’t push boundaries, but it doesn’t need to—its purpose is to support tone and character expression, which it does effectively. The soundtrack complements this lighter atmosphere, reusing and remixing musical themes that longtime players will immediately recognize. Instead of driving emotional intensity, the music reinforces a relaxed, sometimes mischievous mood, functioning more as background accompaniment than a narrative force. This understated use of audio helps maintain the feeling that the game is a casual diversion rather than a core chapter in the saga. In terms of pacing, the experience is brief, often completing within a couple of hours. This short runtime works in its favor, preventing jokes from overstaying their welcome and keeping the energy high throughout. While there is limited replay value in a mechanical sense, fans may find themselves revisiting favorite scenes or dialogue exchanges simply for comfort and nostalgia. The game’s value lies less in longevity and more in how well it delivers a concentrated dose of character-driven enjoyment. Reception among players largely reflects this understanding. Fans of the Grisaia series tend to appreciate the game for what it is: a warm, humorous side story that offers respite from the franchise’s darker themes. Criticism usually centers on its lack of narrative ambition or gameplay depth, but these points often feel beside the mark, as the game never presents itself as anything more than a lighthearted supplement. Ultimately, The Leisure of Grisaia succeeds by embracing restraint and clarity of purpose. It does not attempt to deepen lore, challenge expectations, or push emotional boundaries. Instead, it offers a comfortable return to familiar characters in a setting free of trauma and consequence, allowing players to simply enjoy their company. For fans invested in the Grisaia universe, it serves as an affectionate bonus chapter—one that reminds you why these characters were enjoyable to spend time with in the first place, without asking you to endure their pain all over again. Rating: 8/10
好短,感觉和小剧场一个档次,徽章挺不错
Good story. The original version doesn't have hentai, so this is an uncensored version.
