A bite-sized sokoban metroidvania which gets somewhat difficult near the end
Difficulty: ★★★☆☆ I went in expecting nothing special, but this game is incredibly tightly designed, there is no filler here. Basically you have to find the unicorn's spirits, each bestowing special abilities upon you, helping you solve puzzles necessary to get to other spirits and get their powerups. Very nice metroidvania design. Some block interactions you have to figure out on your own with some experimentation, but it is nothing too obscure. The later puzzles get surprisingly difficult near the end, but nothing extreme. And somehow it is a free game... idk why, they could easily charge some for it.

some details of all the mechanics were a bit unclear. but the puzzles were fun to solve and the art, atmosphere and music were good

Coming from a person who is a sucker for puzzle games, even though most of the times can't figure the hard or meta part out, this game is a great addition to your puzzle library, and I enjoyed most of the game. There are some hard truths need to be put to the light here though: 1. Hard backtracking — I personally had to do more backtracking than I thought I needed, mostly because I couldn't remember the layout of the map. And I want to argue that I got lucky and found the animals(?) in the mostly correct order, which meant I didn't have to do even more backtracking to another zone to find out the one I needed to continue progressing, which meant that for people who might have gotten unlucky, they had a harder time progressing. I want to mention that I'm basing this problem off of A Monster's Expedition, a game I haven't played but watched someone play it. 2. No keybinds / too few settings items — me, personally, every time I start playing a new game, I always head to the settings to see what the keybinds are, in turn "spoilering" myself to what controls could be. But when I started playing this game and went to the settings, it was pretty weird to see only 2 controls: the sounds and the music. From my experience, even the simplest game which has a WASD/arrow keys control has something to say what they do, more so a keybind to change your controls, for example if your keyboard is bad and a key doesn't work or they're used to another key. Also it took me more than expected to find that the R button is for redo, though I still couldn't find the one to reset the level, besides the one after pressing ESC, which is pretty odd for me, especially for a sokoban game. I know some could argue that there is a visual interface that you can use your mouse for, that isn't the point, also I want to mention that I found out you can move with your mouse at like 2/3 of the game, the point is that it's a puzzle game on steam, not some random game you'd find on google play or apple store. This is what I currently don't like about the game, but otherwise, I really enjoyed playing the game, it being one of the few I finished without having to look up a playthrough to beat a section, though I did get pretty stuck at the last 3 sections of the game. I think I made a great choice by not just muting the music and listening to mine, because it gave the game a unique charm to it. Also I have to mention that the art is simply lovely. I also want to speak about the level design. If I were honest with you, the game had a lot of Isles of Sea and Sky vibes, maybe because I haven't played a game that is like that, but the "giving you items to do things you werent able to do before" is pretty much what both of those have in common, and it's honestly pretty interesting to see how this game sets up temporary locks to things you probably didn't even think were in the game. I'd want to say that the game deserves your play time, and me, not being the best at puzzle games (but also not the worst), beating it in 3.8 hours says something about this tl;dl game has bad backtracking and no keybinds, but great music, art, and level design. add it to your library and play it
Игра "The Legend of Lumina" – это приятный сюрприз в жанре приключенческой RPG.
