The Legend of Dark Witch Renovation

This is probably in my top five favorite games. I can't explain why I like this game so much. I got the OG on the 3DS and somehow played it for 50 hours. I got the remaster on Switch and loved it. I got all the achievements except beat Lunatic with Riva (on Switch). I really wish I could beat the final boss but I just can't beat it. Like the 2nd game the powers don't use tries. A huge improvement over the OG. I should probably buy the second game cause the last time I played it was on the 3DS. I hope the 3rd game comes to Steam. It only came out on the 3DS and I never got a chance to play it back then. Not enough people have played this game. I hope more people play Mega Man with anime girls.

A GOOD remake of a simple game.

Short: A cult classic from the 3DS era. Nothing special with wasted ideas, but the harsh challenge, replay-value and the extra content is nice. Due to its low price, if you have nothing to do, I will say give it a go. 4/5 Stars. Long: A short of "Mega Man" with cute characters. It has a cult following (including me) if you where in the 3DS era thanks to the power of playable Demos! Levels designs are basics and are a waste of potential, but it is very challenging with a secondary treasure objective to at least keep you busy. You can level-up some stuffs, although I found myself just upgrading the base ones and not the powers (may will in Lunatic, but who knows). It gets more interesting when you unlock (Classified) and Lunatic difficulty, making you think on how you will progress the game in the easiest way, mostly by memorizing which levels is recommended to play first, and I love games that make you think. As it says, it has a bunch of content too (and finally one that didn't disappoint me!). It include: Challenges that rewards you with some info in TLoDW and its characters, Comics, Mini-Games, "Cheat Codes" (remember those?), Museum, and a very few Animations that turns this short game into a fun re-playable journey. The only sad thing for me is the music and sounds (the characters going "pew-pew") can get annoying sometimes (no offense!) and doesn't have the After Talk from the TLoDW2 (and maybe 3 but I never played it) to expand the characters even more... Due to its pricing, I say why not? Give it a go! 4/5 Stars. Recommend: Get more innovating in the level designs and mechanics. Oh, and don't forget the After Talk please!

6/28/2023 EDIT: i'm extremely skeptical about the game now seeing how the dev added screenshake some time ago, and also including the fact NAN-A banned multiple people from the Brave Dungeon: The Meaning Of Justice steam page for giving criticism about the game and his work, me included OLD POST: Definitely worth it more than the original LODW1, but i ain't stopping you from buying LODW1 anyways, as i did the same back in 2019/2020 on 3DS (but honestly, both are hard as heck (YES I BLAME YOU VERRI, YOUR STAGE IS HARD) ). Also can i just say, Al's design in this game is a massive improvement over her old LODW1 design, like jezus... (LODW3 Al still her best design by a long shot though)

Dark Witch 1 is an amazing game, but this remaster definitely leaves a lot to be desired. As the title implies, this is a remake of Dark Witch 1. But there's barely anything added here. Sure, there are some new attacks, which were cool, but the extra stuff in game isn't great. Furthermore, a lot of the stuff from 2 is absent. They added the meter from 2, why not add more? This is a remaster after all. The new graphics also pale in comparison with Hi-GO!'s work. I'd suggest turning off the new graphics, but you can't without reverting all the good balances and changes in game. WTF? Other remasters have this feature, so I don't see why this couldn't be done here. Plus, I was kinda disappointed with the soundtrack changes. They added the Dark Witch 2 and 3 boss music change, but not the full soundtrack? On the plus side, the post game is a little bigger but still disappointing. This port also lags as well, which is odd, as 1 runs perfectly on the PC. Overall, buy the original, it's still available on Steam. This doesn't cut it. EDIT 1/1/23: Updated due to new changes. First off, the poor performance was on my end (I think). Usually the game froze for a second when starting a stage, but that seems to be gone now, and I don't know why. Second, there was a new update that adds a screen shake effect once you get hit, without a way to disable it, and it looks awful. Just another reason not to recommend this version. Just play Classic. Oh yeah, Classic is now 7 bucks, without the new features of Renovation. As lackluster as they may be, that's scummy as hell, and not even my favorite video game series gets a pass from that.

Yo tengo el The Legend Of Dark Witch 2 de 3DS que me lo compré porque me parecía interesante, y la verdad no me arrepiento de la compra. Un tiempo más tarde quise investigar si habían más partes y resulta que sí, que hay hasta dos partes más para 3DS en la eShop. Luego investigué si había para ordenador y sí, están la primera y segunda parte. Compré hace unas semanas esta primera parte y no me arrepiento para nada de la compra. Es un juego muy bueno, con unas mecánicas parecidas (incluso diría que basadas) en Megaman bastante bien hechas, entretenido, con unos personajes bastante graciosos en mi opinión, y, lo que me sorprendió bastante, el final del juego está en dos partes, una con la que luchas con el jefe final, y otra parte que luchas con el mismo jefe pero potenciado. Eso me gustó un montón. Luego también hay más contenido después de pasártelo entero y para seguir jugando más con minijuegos, más modos de dificultad, etc. En resumen, es un juego que recomiendo bastante ya que, si bien parece el típico juego para echar el rato, puedes picarte bastante con los jefes y tratar de estar bastante tiempo derrotando a uno aprendiendo sus mecánicas o yendo a por más jefes para lograr saber el final del juego ya que el momento más tedioso y más largo es cuando luchas con el jefe. Espero que salga la tercera parte que está en 3DS aquí en Steam, jajaja. Muy divertido el juego y entretenido.

きれいにリメイクされてるのがよき。

원래는 3DS 소프트로 발매한, 마신소녀 시리즈의 첫 작품의 리메이크판. 그래서 기동할때 나오는 5주년 아트는 원작 그리고 시리즈 5주년을 기념하는 것으로.. 왜인지 발매로부터 한참 지나 공식 한글화도 추가해 주었다. 아마 4편 발매를 준비하면서 해준듯 싶음. 게임성은 이동 점프 샷으로 모든걸 해결하면서 나아가고, 스테이지의 보스를 쓰러트리면 그 보스의 무기를 얻는.. 록맨에게서 영향을 크게 받은 모습. 특히나 클래식 록맨의 감각을 느끼게 하는 점이 많아, 겉보기보다 적의 공격을 피하기가 까다롭다. 하필 보스 선택에서 맨 왼쪽인 보스가 패턴이 까다로워서 첫 보스부터 좌절할뻔했다.. 대신 자신이 강화하고싶은 능력을 선택해서 강화하는 인스톨, 원거리 공격이 닿기 직전 이동 입력으로 막아내는 블로킹 등 이 게임만의 시스템에 익숙해질수록 플레이에 여유가 생겨난다. 그리고 록맨의 혼을 이어받고자 하는 만큼, 보스는 약점무기로 공략하면 난이도가 떡락하기도 한다. 필드에서는 종종 어처구니없게 피격되는 일들이 부조리로 느껴지긴 하지만, 중요한 보스전들은 대체로 어려운거지 불쾌하지는 않은 구성이라 이런 장르를, 혹은 액션게임의 도전을 즐기는 사람들에겐 충분히 어필할만한 작품이라고 생각한다. 이 리뷰를 작성하면서는 거의 손도 못댔지만.. 도전과제에 해당하는 파고들기 요소를 충실하게 갖춰놔서 마음에 들었다면 얼마든지 더 파먹을게 있다는것도 장점으로 꼽을 수 있을듯. 아쉬운 점은 적어도 한번은 모아봐야하는 수집요소(순색의 셰가)에 대한 안내가 너무 없었다는점. 숨겨져 있을것같은 장소에 공격을 쏴야 나오는 시스템이면ㅋㅋㅋㅋ말을 하라고ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 공략 안보고도 찾을 수 있는 난이도이긴 하지만 스트레스받기 딱 좋은 시스템이라 이 부분만은 공략을 추천함..

難易度が高い事自体ではなく、負けると強化がリセットさせる仕様が不快でしたロックマンやカップヘッドなどに悪い要素を合わせたようなゲームです

落下しても死ねません。直して欲しいです。 キャラクターが可愛いです。
