The Last Gift

I thought this one was alright. It had a nice use of assets I see in many of these games. The story is pretty standard with good jump scares. Major complaint is how slow you move while being asked to go all over the house many times. Still for the price it's worth a grab. 3 out of 5.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend it, not even at this relatively low price. Right from the start, you can't adjust the mouse sensitivity. Then there's a lot of grain, which you also can't turn off. I really don't like grain at all. You play a burglar, but right at the start you set off fireworks in the garden. A little later, you get a prompt telling you to move quietly through the house. Yeah, right, after setting off fireworks in the garden. The scary moments are unfortunately few and far between and completely predictable. The girl’s voice isn’t scary either; it actually makes you laugh.

What a fun time stealing from kids on Christmas...or did I? Very spooky atmosphere and loud sounds during gameplay. The atmosphere was tense and made me nervous throughout game. Thanks for sharing. See my playthrough here: https://youtu.be/77MxiiDqkUY
