A very novel game that shows just how advanced NPCs and divergent storytelling can be. Charisma AI seems to be a fascinating tool for developing games and I would love to see more applications of it in the future! The story of the game and your role within it also invites you to ponder a great many issues as you consider your actions. What is the role of press, politics and military in society? If you want to initiate change, how do you go about it? Whilst the graphics are somewhat basic, the core jewel of this game is the personalised story you can develop for yourself in a game where every NPC can be conversed with and relationships can be developed.
So far I love the concept of this game and cannot wait to continue playing!! The AI voices sound so cool and this all seems so next-level compared to other games I have played. The gameplay is incredibly smooth and the story seems like an interesting one. Definitely recommend!!!

This is a truly unique game that kept a smile on my face throughout. The gameplay is immersive and you really get the sense of moving through the chapters of the story. I'm a big fan of both the art style and music, both of which add to the joyful storytelling. The dialogue is engaging and charming, with great characterisation. The characters remember your decisions and answers, which can lead to some particularly funny encounters along the way (I certainly played myself very early on by admitting to some of my reading preferences...!) This was an exciting way to experience the story, and I'm sure one of the first of many to make use of AI in such a creative way.

fairly cool
This game can't live up to the interesting core mechanic of speech recognition/NLP. I've had too many bugs in 30 minutes of playing - being locked out of rooms, items and characters becoming uninteractable, that kind of thing. This is a tech demo, not a playable game.
Why pay $25 for a demo that claims to be "powered by AI" when they hardly respond to what you say? The conversations don't feel natural, as you can't speak first, only offering a response to their predetermined dialogue. It goes as such Character: *preplanned dialogue* Player: *response* Character: *AI response dialogue* Doesn't feel natural, even for AI standards.
