The game is a masterpiece! Can't believe it's free. It's polished to the hilt and features marvelous worldcraft, lots of hi-degree humor, solid classical PnC puzzles and great overall feel. Not to mention the Tolkien scale language invention, breathtaking voice acting and marvelous music.
This game is awesome! It's free so you have no excuse not to install it and jump into the intensely creative world the developers have created. It scratched my itch for old school point and click adventure gaming, all the while making me feel really weird and tripped out because of the language, the out of the box art style, and the bizarre-o humour at every turn. I got majorly stuck at one point and needed some help to move forward in the game so (hopefully) that means some of the puzzles are challenging. I truly can't recommend this game enough. It's immersive and fun and easy to play. 5 stars.

That 'Yes' comes with a caveat, it's only if you don't mind spending most of the game befuddled and confused...
Bu eski tarz işaretle ve tıkla macerasında Knobbly Crook'un gerçeküstü, rahatsız edici ve gülünç dünyasına girin. İlginç çerezlik.
cons - no idea what to do, no guidance, controls suck, can't progress at all (because I have no clue) pros - looks like something I normally would like result - doubt I'll play it ever again, it did not captivate me at all, at this point I don't care about it at all...
I've just finished the game and this is the best adventure game. Literally. I played tens of no action adventure games and this is the most original and playable piece ever. I kinda got Sanitarium vibes but that was "not a happy place", this one kinda is. I finished it in 3 days, playing a couple of hours each time, always excited for the next quest. It has exactly the right amount of mini games and dialogue. I did have to check a walkthrough a couple of times and found it's more about being curious and checking for details rather than difficulty. 10/10.

"The Knobbly Crook" is a free point and click adventure game mangled out with the godawful Adventure Game Studio construction kit, but at least the developers managed to do their own 2D "art" for the game. What do you do in the game? It's a surrealist point and click adventure that's more of a showcase for the developers 2D art than it is a real game. The art is okay but we have to ask the question what it has to do with gaming... it might be better if their talents were used as part of a team of real game developers instead of this construction kit shovelware. The graphics in this game are really quite good, which at least makes the game look more appealing. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at less than 100 concurrent players, they couldn't even break three figures, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? This is a "maybe" experience... if you have a lot of free time on your hands and nothing else to do, why not? But for the purposes of a review, this isn't something I can say everyone must try. It's not quite there. Valve doesn't give us a "maybe" option in reviews, but if they did, that's what I'd choose for this.
