About
The Journey Never Ends: Leviathan is a mature, turn-based RPG set in the dystopian mega-city of Leviathan—a vast, oppressive world where survival is a daily struggle and morality is a luxury. Ruled by the godlike machine entity Kelzik and the corporate empire, Seven Virtues, none can fight back against their insurmountable might.
In this dark, atmospheric experience, your journey isn't just about saving the world—it's about not losing yourself to it. Scavenge, fight, and do whatever you can to survive.
Featuring turn-based combat, deep characters, and a narrative that challenges the ethics of the main cast at every turn, The Journey Never Ends: Leviathan invites you to carve out a life in a city that wants to consume you whole.
Features

This is one of those titles that you just take a risk on. It's quite good with mature themes. :) :) :)
Great combat system that gives you variety in how you can play. Boss fights are a lot of fun, especially some of the harder ones where you have to be smart about how you play them. Also has some pretty fun post-game content. I'd give it a pretty good out of 10. Excited for the next game!
I don't have many hours in Leviathan (so far). But the time I have put in I have really enjoyed. Leviathan scratches that itch I get on occasion from the days of olde, and games like finally fantasy 6, or even the secret of Mana in some instances. Leviathan stands on it's on business however, and has an identity that speaks to me and sets itself apart from any material that it draws inspiration from. You can tell right from the start that the developer's heart is in the right place. To call this a passion project is an understatement, and this is a developer that WANTS to be doing this, rather than pander to shareholders which has saturated the gaming landscape as of late. The story is right where it needs to be. I'm not too crazy about cyber punk, but the developer writes the story in such a way that makes me invested in the cyber punk theme regardless of how my pre-conceived notions on this esthetic are. I'm drawn into the world, as it grows and becomes more immersive. The characters are great. They each have that certain quality about them that makes you want to learn more about them, and has you asking questions like; "who are they" "How will they react with this certain character" "do they have an agenda of their own" "what made them this way, and how will it all unfold" This game will draw you in, whether you are new to rpg's, or you're an old head like me who can't get rpg's of the glory days out of their head. Give it a shot. Try it out for it's amazing flow of controls, rich combat system, intriguing story, battery of amazing characters, or fun setting. Leviathan is truly a diamond in the rough, and like it's name, i hope the journey never ends.

A dark cyberpunk RPG. The story is well written and the characters all have stories that you can't help but be invested in, even the villains. If you've been looking for an RPG that takes it's world a bit more seriously, where you don't know who is safe under the oppressive forces that keep the main characters down, then you've got a good experience coming with Leviathan.
They should rename it the Dialogue Never Ends. I'm sure there's a game in there somewhere but an hour and a half wasn't long enough to find it.
