Reviews
This game is a real masterpiece even after I replayed it this year!
Great soundtrack and overall logical puzzles. Story is somewhat of a filler.
8/10 - A charming, little point-&-click adventure.
Pros.: - Better sound and voice design. - The story reminds more of Rubakawa in Grim Fandango. - Better complexity of puzzles. - Longer. Cons.: - Still feels something is off. For example, the depth of the world. Longer, more complex world with more characters would have benefited the game.
Fun second chapter of The Journey Down, that does not reach the level of the first part. Characters are still likeable. Voice acting and sound design is still good, but the graphics take a turn for the worse, most likely because they use more muted colors in this chapter. Puzzles are for the most part logical, but some puzzles are now more far-fethched. My rating for Chapter Two is 6,5/10, recommended.
Very good point and click game! The main issue I have with this chapter is that 1 puzzle requires you to remember a hint that is only given once and that you may not even notice. If you don't notice it, you have no way of knowing that trial and error is an option for that puzzle because it could take 5 min or something.
Fabulous
