THE INITIAL is a hyper action game about pretty schoolgirls battling against evil. It's developed by a small team of five developers. We hope you will love this game as much as we do.

Video / Gráficos9Visualmente delicioso.

Historia3Meh, no esperes un Tolkien.

Ambientación7Coge buenos elementos, aunque a veces se siente reciclado.

Efectos7Sólidos, pero nada del otro mundo.

Música4No será recordada ni tarareada.

Voces6Cumplen sin destacar, como un actor secundario.

Diversidad7Es variado, pero podría mejorar.

Total Puntuaciones65/100Sobresaliente en algunos aspectos, mediocre en otros.

Conclusión de Compra
[p]Puntaje Total: 65/100.
Soft recommend. A decent hack and slash for a good price and it's about two hours in length, offering tougher difficulties if you fancy a challenge. However, there's little variety in enemies to fight. Aside from the boss battles, once you have completed the first level, expect the same mobs and formulae for the rest of the levels; walk down hall, enter secluded area, defeat mob, rinse and repeat. The boss battles at the end of each chapter are the only real sprinkle of variety. That being said, the gameplay flows very nicely and it's impressive from such a small group of developers. I enjoyed the time I spent playing it, but I wouldn't play it more than once.

This is one of those in between a thumbs up and thumbs down games. It's clearly made by a small team and a small budget. With that in mind, its a pretty decent sort of arcade/arena hack n slash. There are only about 5 different enemies in the game, and a decent number of moves in which to kill them with. Though some of the combos are pretty long, and I didn't even try to remember them. If you don't like repetitive hack n slash games at all, this isn't for you. I didn't get bored with it myself, because the game is quite short. So you can complete it long before getting bored. This game should be great to play on a controller, but for some reason the trigger buttons don't work on the steam controller, and I can't set them to any way I would want them. Though I am not sure if this is because of the game, or the crappy new interface Steam has for controllers. So after an hour of fighting with that, I used a keyboard, which was fine to play on. As for the actual combat, it reminded me of Kingdom Hearts a bit...but like a polished tech demo of one of the earlier games in the series. It's not bad by any means and plays quite smoothly and is satisfying. Just imagine you're playing as a sexier version of Kairi, and instead of heartless, you're fighting sexy women. Heck, even on of the bosses is basically Yozora, with one red eye and one blue, but in the body of Tifa from FF7. She'll even kill you as fast as Yozora if you're not careful. But she looks so yummy that it's okay. The pink-haired girl I played as though...her panties did not match her dress, and that bothered me. Overall, this is a short, decent game. Not really worth 10 bucks, but definitely worth a look when on sale. Oh. And the translations are rather horrible. But there isn't enough story for that to bother me.
The game is fun. It's short, it's kinda crazy in a good way - but it is small and a bit buggy.
The camera gets locked up at angles that make it impossible to see whats going on. Yes you can manually rotate the camera, but it will instantly swap back to crapola angles. The combat, which is the core of the game is total trash. The forced auto target is random as hell, you will be being jumped by half a dozen mobs and your character will be stuck targeting something on the other side of the room. Youll get stunlocked into oblivion. Beyond that combat feels floaty and stagnate. You cant cancel out of a combo once youve started it, so you can only use most moves when there is only one mob around... Overall this is garbage and at 10$ its way over priced. I think the only reason people like this game is because they can look at "anime" schoolgirls underwear and bathing suits.
