The Incident at Galley House

Simply outstanding, best game of its type I've played since Obra Dinn. There's so little that can be said without spoiling it but I'll just say that few mystery games have forced me to constantly reassess my base assumptions the way Galley House does, or managed to so satisfyingly defy my expectations without causing an unwelcome amount of frustration. I didn't find it especially difficult but that's not because it handholds, it's just quite efficient at making sure the information you need to proceed is available to you. As long as you keep reviewing scenes and taking notes the pieces will fall into place, it's just a matter of time. There's also a built-in hint system and no penalties for using it. I didn't need to for the main story and I think it would have diminished the experience if I had, but YMMV. I probably will use it for mopping up the few remaining incidental scenes.

This is a detective/ mystery gem. The story, characters, music, plot twists... everything was great and I had a blast!! Please make more games like this!!
