The Incident at Galley House

Fantastic game. I'm a nerd for murder mystery and deduction games. If you're also a fan of solving mysteries, don't be deterred by the supernatural element of the game. The supernatural element is quickly demonstrated and follows rules that enhance the deduction once you understand them. The characters are a bit bland, but the story is great, and the resolution is fantastic. 5/5

PIck "Roottrees Are Dead" as your starter and you can't go wrong. This is a bit too confusing all until the end but I assume that was part of the plan. No, there are no jumpscares in case anyone was wondering. Overall it's a very interesting and unique take to the story. You can tell the creators did a lot of work on every aspect of the game to try and make it as understandable without giving anything away. Game is 7/10. Would 100000% keep up with their games <3

I wish I was able to give this more of a middle-ground score. If I could, I would probably give this game a 3/5 stars. It is difficult to thumbs-down, as I think the game developers are extremely talented. But, to be frank, it just got to be very repetitive and became boring after awhile. It was engaging and interesting at first, but then it fell off towards the middle. Even though this game wasn't my favorite, I would still like to acknowledge and support the great work the devs do. The visuals/graphics are fantastic and the voice acting is top-tier. I am eager to see what they create and share with us next.

Very enjoyable supernatural deduction mystery roller coaster. Fans of Obra Dinn, Roottrees, and Blake Manor especially are welcome here. Uniquely has an Inception vibe where the "special" machine takes a little more center stage. I would say it's not quite at the level of the games mentioned above, with moderate pacing issues in the middle where it wallows a bit in the narrative's campy horror, before significantly picking up again in the final act. Also the game asks some major suspension of disbelief in its animation (or really lack thereof). Its flaws are excused for an overall really good time, and the more of this kind of the game, the better.

I've never experienced anything quite like this before, and I never will again, very cool ideas contained in this and a ton of fun detective work! I think the middle of the game drags/gets a bit repetitive but that's an issue quickly resolved. I also think that there could have been a few more extra folds to the mystery than were present -- I was imaging something really big in my head and the result was a bit underwhelming compared to my imagination as I got closer to the end. Recommend to anyone though holy moly had a great time and I'll never forget it. Probably my favorite devs right now! (Play the Roottrees are dead too)
